This establishment also has a banquet hall for various events. Excellent large parking lot right behind the bar. Very convenient. Loved the warm ambiance inside. The food was good and we stopped here at the recommendation of our hotel. I wanted to love this place but the service was lacking. Several people received their drinks ahead of us and we were disappointed 😞 Fantastic burger from irish beef and one of the most original toilets I've ever seen. On a tour, they got us in and out in a jiffy; and the food was fantastic. Would not expect speed quality and a reasonable price, but they delivered in spades. Matched omnivores and vegans alike. We celebrated my sister’s here at the weekend, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The venue with its charming pub/restaurant and beautiful barn created such a lovely atmosphere throughout the day. Everything looked stunning, the food was absolutely gorgeous, and the staff were so friendly. It truly was the perfect setting for such a special occasion. Highly recommend! Vaughans Pub helped give us a reception we will never forget - and in short time, too! We looked everywhere for a place that would host a small reception (12 people), but still have a private place to offer for sitting. Not only did Vaughans deliver a room, they went above and beyond - from the decorations they provided, customized menus with our names, holding our cake and then displaying it beautifully - we are so incredibly appreciative. The food was good (recommend their hot wings in particular, and the fish and chips meals were enjoyed by all who got them, with big fish portions and crunchy breading), but the highlight for us was the space. A private room with candles all around, decorative fairy lights, bubbly laid out on a table for us for toasting - we can't say enough about the work they put in to give us a magical and memorable reception. Vaughan’s Pub has everything you could want in a traditional Irish pub - warm hospitality. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, whether you’re a local or just passing through. The food was excellent (especially the Beef and Guinness Stew and fresh Guinness 0.0) and the staff made us feel right at home. We had our in Vaughan’s last month and it was incredible. The team are fantastic, especially Triona, who handled all communications and requests, nothing was an issue, and she was just so helpful. The food is amazing, we were blown away at the food tasting, which they kindly didn’t mind my parents attending also, and again at the all the guests were raving about how good the food was! Everything went very smoothly and that is down to how organised the team is. The barn is such a gorgeous, intimate place and the perfect place for a smaller (we had around 90 guests.) We gave the white table plan easel pictured to Vaughan’s as a token of our thanks, so it’s there for other couples to use. The accommodation provided is also excellent, very clean and comfortable. Overall would highly recommend Vaughan’s for a wedding. Absolutely incredible! I found Vaughan's online and booked the venue before we even saw it due to living in the states. When we were able to go over, a year before our date, they happily organized our tasting. As time grew closer to our date, they were easy to communicate with and so very flexible! The day of our wedding- it was evident how much Vaughan's cared about making our big day feel special. They managed moving the ceremony inside seamlessly (since it was raining, of course lol), and our food was absolutely delicious! We still are receiving compliments from guests about how great the food was. Every step of the way Vaughan's staff was kind, enthusiastic, and easy to work with. I cannot recommend hosting your here enough. We had our at Vaughan’s last Saturday and we honestly couldn’t speak more highly of the whole experience. From start to finish, the team was incredibly helpful—nothing was ever too much trouble and every request was accommodated with ease. Our guests were full of praise for the food, and the barn setup for the dinner was absolutely perfect. One of the many highlights of the day was having our first dance outside—it was such a special moment and beautifully done. Huge thanks to all the staff who worked so hard on the day and night. Special shoutout to Luke and Caitlin who were everywhere over the few days, and their care and attention to detail made us feel completely at ease that everything was taken care of.
