Best coffee we have had so far in Ireland. This includes our time in Dublin and Galway among other places. The lattes were incredible. We also ordered a couple of danishes. The cheese, or savory variety are also top-notch. With in the business name it is no surprise. They do this very well. As for desserts, we tried the carrot cake, which of course has cream frosting. Amazing. The owners here really know what they’re doing. It’s a non-descript place, very unassuming, but those are usually the best. Oh, The Press!! My beloved cafe. Someone wanted to go in here & I thought, the press? It’s just a shop. Oh no… it was the best cafe in Ireland & what made me fall in love with Ennistymon! We came here several times during our trip. We dined in, take away, & shopped at this cafe! I’ll dream of this cafe Great little Cafe. The owner? was so nice. Coffee and pastries were top-notch. And being able to play a little guitar, and sing, was a refreshing change of pace! We are always on the hunt for the perfect cup of coffee and word on the street was it was in County Clare somewhere. So West Cork Weekends loaded up the wagon and went on the hunt. We decided to tie in some sight seeing as well and on the way to the Cliffs of Mohr we made a random coffee stop in the town of Ennistymon or Ennistimon. Much more than a cute, quaint little town along the way it was full of abundant offerings. Galleries, books shops, waterfalls walking paths along the river and plenty of architectural delightful buildings that seemed to hug the streets. Ennistymon also sits at a crossroads for the road to Galway, a top up spot for the next leg of a journey. So after parking in a nearby church we thought we should stretch the legs and have a look about. A lovely river flows through the town and has walking paths on both sides, dog friendly, family friendly and plain old friendly friendly. The next stop was the funky, bohemian cafe The Press. One of those shops every town should have, you could spend half your day just hanging out looking at the smart art for sale and on the walls, catching up on whats happening around town (Flyers aplenty), a child friendly hang out area and just a great shop throwing off cool vibes. Yes there was and we were here for the coffee. it did not disappoint and there was some nice banter with the staff and owner as well, everybody in there seemed to be in good form. Definitely worth checking out, seeking out if your in the area. Take the trip! I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this shop for lunch! Don’t miss the toastie…it’s not your ordinary grilled cheese. I was super impressed with their gluten free bread as it was very hearty and not cardboard-like at all, which sometimes GF bread can be. The carrot cake was also delicious! Very cute little store with amazing local offerings - we recommend the sourdough bread. We loved the atmosphere. The staff surprised us with speaking very good German. Fabulous organic soup and toastie. Wheatgrass slice are to die for. Always good craic and a bit of music on the go! Hands down, the Best Toastie in Ireland. Great flat white and americano as well. We will dream about this place back in the U.S. Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
