It must have taken ages to build all of this. I bet it's easy to get lost here, I need to keep track of my friends. Imagine all the stories these walls could tell! Great Location and very quiet surroundings. Not a crowded place except for weekends and special prayer days. There is a nice restaurant there too for those willing to climbing 50-70 steep stair steps. Small but of orthodox Church, as most in the shole area. Gorgeous place in a mountain setting! There's also a wonderful selfserve restaurant with outside sitting, offering a panoramic view over the and surrounding nature. You can get here by car (free parking at the location) or you can walk, the road is uphill, but surrounded by a lovely forest. There is hotel accommodation, but it's best to book it in advance. I'm also not sure if the restaurant works during weekdays. It's a place of worship, so it's important to be respectful of noise levels in the yard. and peaceful place with amazing nature and spiritual energy. St. Joakim Osogovski is located in natural surroundings, nestled in the Osogovo Mountains. The church dedicated to St. Joakim Osogovski was built by the greatest master of the 19th century, Andrey Damjanov. The frescoes are the work of Dimitar Papradiski, an excellent fresco painter. The relics of St. Joakim Osogovski and Joakim Krčovski are placed in two reliquaries in the church, to the right and left of the entrance. Probably the most amazing in this part of Europe. The hole place is calming and beautiful. Facilities are superb and the access road is good. Higly recommended!! Highly recommend to anyone to visit this Monastery, whether religious or not; this place carries an important part of Macedonian history and spirituality. You can buy souvenirs and handmade things. (the entrance is free of charge) Very big energetic field is on this place. We were sleeping there with a friends, they have hotel, reatairand with local food and drinks.
