I don't really have much to say but booked at the right time it's a good ending to the day and especially a hot day. Loads of fun! We arrived at midday and used my blue light discount. Loved the Wild bull rollercoaster! The bumper boats are amazingly fun especially for the adults! Pedal boats are not such a good idea if it's hot! I went here for the first time last week, during the Easter holiday with my son, his wife, and 2 grandchildren aged 3 and 5. I was pleasantly surprised with the number of and things to do. It has a lot of greenery and was not noisy. It is suitable for younger families as the are generally smaller and less scary than a large theme park. A day out. Fantastic for 3-10 .. maybe not for older , be aware that the water needs to be booked before your visit Honestly place for the xx wish wasnt so busy but was summer holidays xx Amazing little place for younger kids. My son is 7 and he loves every minute of it. The only slight dissapoint for me is the quality of food so we always take our own so no drama for us really day out with the family no extra to pay unless it's for ice-cream or food loved it..highly recommend both parks (sister at wheelgate) Had a day out with our children, social distancing in place and being cleaned down between each use. Staff were all lovely, we'll definitely be back! Loads of rides. But all are very small in size and the ride length is very low, 2x round only on most rides. 90 seconds and the are over and done. So as you're just staying to enjoy it or the are enjoying themselves it stops. Everyride is managed by 1 worker, so everything takes ages to get people on and off rides. Bring your own food as what's on offer isn't worth feeding stray dogs. "BBQ shack" no BBQ food insight or BBQ sauce to even put in the minimum effort to call it a BBQ shack, in fact. I used to go to Twinlakes as a kid on a monthly basis with my family and family friends and it was back then. 15 years later and they have improved a lot. Lots more and stuff to do, the addition of the waterpark which currently due to the pandemic has been closed but there is still plenty to do. We went on the 18th October 2020 and the Halloween event has extra events and activities for the to do including two different searches around the which will reward you with sweets and entry into competitions. Witching school and other on stage events. They still have all of their rollercoaster open and their indoor play areas too. The restaurant is open so hot food is still available. Plenty of parking and friendly staff. It is worth the money for a day out with the kids. (Please note these are my in the pictures) Its a 'fair' day out for the kids. Theres plenty of land full of things to do to last all day. There are however a lot of areas and equipment that are desperately in need of refurbishment where the fun factor just doesn't exist anymore and you'll walk away thinking what a waist of time. Gift shop is a nice size shop, the contents is weighted very much towards teddy bears and small cheap tac rather than any good quality gifts, toys or souvenirs. Lots of activities and programs throughout the year which is nice. There are 2 huge impressive indoor climbing frames that also contain extra activities such as rope climbing and a small river rapids which has been put together very nicely providing lots of imagination for kids. Seating in the indoor areas is limited and gets full very quickly. The restaurant is just diabolical, offering mainly burgers and chips and a jacket potatoe for the more healthy conscious. I ordered a cheeseburger meal for my son which contained a tiny bit of beef and 2 buns. They didnt even remember the cheese. I didn't order a hot dog but im presuming this would be a similar set up, bread with a bit of sausage, no onions, no sauce. I had the adult cheeseburger which again was a small burger with 2 buns and a dropping of grated cheese, didnt taste good at all and was very expensive. You could be queuing for as long as 30 minutes at busy times. Its 1 star for the food im afraid, considering its a family attraction the choice and serving was a disgrace. Definately bring your own food! Overall a 'fair' day out for the with a fair and moderate fun factor, nothing too special im afraid. Went to the Santa grotto with my youngest. It was OK, you got to ride a small train ride which was decorated with a Christmas theme, meet the elves and obviously Santa. The children get to choose a gift from the work shop, OK gifts but nothing amazing. In all OK. We then had the theme for the rest of the day which is a which we have no issues with. Went on a Saturday and wasn't too busy. Loads of parking and plenty to do indoors as well as outdoors. I really wanted to give this place 5* but with the distinct lack of consideration for a wheelchair user makes moving around the incredibly difficult in a manual chair. The itself is and the indoor centres are well worth the ticket price on their own. The stoney ground, huge kurbs and lack on electric door opening make it a task to move about. Staff are great, are great, indoor is great, food better than expected and I really enjoyed it for a theme type lunch. The queuing lines are extremely narrow for a wheel chair also which makes it difficult especially when there is a bin blocking the line for the width. Its awesome.. n aswell as v adults had loads of fun .enjoyed a lot..n as whts going on now with covid9 everywhr there was hand sanitizer so really appreciated tht. N all the were well sanitized n cleaned before other people using it.. Waterpark was too but the concern was the water was too cold but tht was ok as its hot weather so hv no problem.. Must visit atlest once.. day out. Very busy in August. Lots of queues. Toilets were dirty. Not alot of ice cream choices.
