Fabulous surprise to discover this little gem of a pub the staff and food was amazing no waiting for table will definitely return to here Lovely pub for lunch. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Food is very tasty and very reasonable. Always a nice atmosphere in the pub. Only ever visited during time Dropped in for lunch as we were passing through Summerhill on the way to the vets. We were met with a lovely friendly welcome from the barman. Food was top notch, freshly made with great quality food. The waitress was extra helpful and friendly with our order as we requested a few changes. Upon leaving, the barman sent us on our way with well wishes for our dog"s recovery. Our overall impression of Shaw's was positive and welcoming with amazing food. Shaws was such a good experience. We’ll be back whenever we visit Ireland. It was so tuff that they asked the waitess for a steak knife. I said she cant eat it as its so tuff can she change it for some turkey instead..the waitress said no problem..it took 15 mins for her to come back with 2 slices of turkey and by that time the lady's dinner was finished. I had the chicken burger. Was sloppy and cold. The lettuce must of been a few days out of date..won't be in a hurry to go back.. it used to be way better Popped in on a whim and was really delighted. Food was excellent and beautifully presented. Highly recommend prawn carbonara and steak sandwich!
