Service was very pleasant and efficient, whole team great along with the atmosphere of the stud. But look at the portion I got in the BLT sandwich (pictured), must have been made by a Cavan man cos there's one tiny slither of bacon, a lettuce leaf and a thin tomato slice. Don't need chips coming with crisps either just pack the BLT with ingredients. Thinnest BLT I've ever had. The chicken salad was massive though. This was my first time here in the tea rooms and I will definitely be back soon. We had the chicken and mushroom pie and the seafood chowder with a sides of fries which where very tasty. The place was very busy, the were very and service was good. The bill was reasonable as well. At certain days and times you may have to queue as it very busy. There is a around the grounds which takes about 30-40 mins the ground is a bit uneven so wear suitable shoes. Just dropped in for coffee and a tea we also had a scone and a slice of apple pie which were all good. We had dinner here last week the Bective lights it was good atmosphere. Good selection of food for lunch. The portions are really big, definitely good value for money. Tables are a little cramped but seating is comfortable. are very and helpful when we had questions about the menu. Went here today, beautiful tearooms and landscaped patio area. Service is very slow waiting for food to come out, maybe 20 mins or more waiting on apple crumble and pancakes. were very friendly. Beautiful place but the is expensive compared to other places similar. Pot of tea, apple crumble and kids pancakes(we had asked for regular portion but they brought a kids one) 2 very small pancakes the size of your palm for €22.75 . It would turn me off going back again to be honest, pity because it's a place Beautiful spot with well maintained & manicured gardens perfect place to while away a few hours and relax. The are attentive and providing a very welcoming atmosphere on arrival. You can choose to have your meal in the cafe itself which is delightful or outside in a private garden pod which is a wonderful touch Visited for lunch & at first we were a little turned off by the prices which are on the rather expensive side. This however was absolutely and utterly negated by the portion size & sheer quality of the food that was presented. We will definitely be back and I don't hesitate to recommend a visit. Lovely place to go for a and food which is very expensive. They don't do tea and cakes on Sundays, only 2 or 3 course meals. Very well laid out. Walks are beautiful and well sign posted. Lovely Irish place. Beautiful drive in to teach the tea rooms. Parking area is green and lush, very beautiful surrounds, when entering and especially when seated outside. are very friendly, helpful and professional. Love the diversity in staff. Food is really good; well presented and coffees and teas are hot when served (unlike some places). place for family breakfast! Very attractive interier with lovely wallpapers, tasty food, and excellent service with pleasant waitresses make your morning better and bring only positive emotions! After breakfast, you have a chance to go for a walk...the length of the way 3,5 km, peace and calm atmosphere with lovely landscape. Food and desserts were class. Fabulous old gatehouse. Lovely . Definitely worth waiting on a table. Wheelchair accessible. Will travel back again Best time at the Bective Tea Rooms Went here a few weeks ago based on a recommendation. We were not disappointed and I’m paying it forward. We took a around the grounds lovely loop. Through open and shaded areas passing through forests and paddocks with bourses. 3.5 approx loop finishing back at the entrance and beside the restaurant. It was a beautiful day. Friday late lunch and still busy but not too busy thot we couldn’t get a table great buzz and atmosphere about. Plenty of attentive staff. Food was delicious, really fresh, options for indulging or keeping it healthy. We shared a club sandwich and side salad. Absolutely yum. Desserts looked lovely but we didn’t sample. That’s for another day. Plenty of parking available. Definitely go along for a visit. This was a fabulous tea. Everything from start to finish was perfect, the tea rooms are beautifully decorated, comfy tables and chairs. The were so and helpful. The food was amazing. Keep doing what you are doing team happy to give you o 10 out of 10 😊 Went here on a Sunday for the three course meal - it was delicious! Service great and generous portions! Finished off with a coffee and dessert 🍨 Highly recommend a visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very impressed with Bective Tea Rooms. Lovely setting and very comfortable and nicely decorated interior. Couple of pods for dining also. Food well presented and tasty with helpful staff. around the stud farm if you want to work up an appetite. Arrived just before 4pm and was told kitchen closed at 4pm and states up untill 4.45pm online and 5pm closed. Was giving a dessert menu. I decided I would order a coffee and a scone and a child's ice cream. Was told scones are only served at 12 and was on the I was giving. Also asked for a child's ice cream and was told don't do ice cream. So ended up ordering a dessert for a 2 year old which cost €7. Coffee was nice. But to be honest I was disappointed. Everything was either a no we don't do and when leaving at 4.50pm there was people ordering more wine so can't understand that just before 4pm we were told no food been served and food been brought out at 4.20pm to other tables. We ended up having to drive else were toget food. It's a pity for a such a Saturday that it closes so early. Great spot for tea which my wife recently treated me to. We were well stuffed, and well treated. The scenic down beside the stud was the cherry on top. My turn to treat my wife next weekend, and it will be very hard to top that! Can't recommend Bective Tea Rooms enough! We booked the tea for a baby shower at the venue. We were seated in a more private area of the restaurant, which gave us room to move around and not be in the way of other guests which was amazing. The tea was fabulous, food was delicious and beautifully presented. Everyone is so and beyond accommodating. We also ordered a cake through Bective for the event and it was gorgeous! Thank you so much for everything, we will be back! This is our second Visit to Bective Team rooms for Sunday Lunch. The Premises itself is just stunning. The food was gorgeous, and they offer a great selections of desserts. The Services is excellent, as the and super and efficient. Will definitely be back. a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
