Další z atraktivních vyhlídek na Bledské jezero s mohutnými Alpami na horizontu. Nádherná scenérie, avšak osobně se mi více líbily výhledy z Male Osojnice. Punto panoramico pazzesco Facilmente raggiungibile con indicazioni chiare Be ceraful when follow sights. Go to correct directions. Absolutely worth the 30 minute hike. At times steep but saw people in sandals and flip flops ;). The view from the little bench is breathtaking. Usually quite busy in season so might be hard to sit on the iconic bench. Still worth it! It is very beautiful place. And yes, it is hard to find the proper bench. There are 2 ones which can make you confused. Until you do not find the bench with the heart, you are not there where you want to be. FREE viewpoint of all the Bled key attractions (island church and castle). Easy hike, well marked with good bike parking at the foot of the trailhead. Took us an 1hr 20min round trip to do all 3 viewpoints (Velika, mala and osoj ica) which are all sign marked on the trail. It is recommended to reach this viewpoint to enjoy one of the amazing views of the Bled Lake. It is a route with a moderate difficult. I recommend you to use hiking boots to reach this viewpoint. It will be about 1 hour to reach this point through the forest path. A relatively tricky (a lot of uphill!) but short (45 mins or so) hike up to the highest viewpoint. As you pass the first viewpoint, most of the hikers go there, so it’s relatively private. Not hugely varied landscape whilst walking, but lovely view at the end. Very steep upward climb. After a few rainy days this was super slippery and I would not recommend doing this in trainers. Sturdy walking shoes/boots recommended. Be very careful with the last incredibly steep section to get to the view. There is a wire that will help you hold on but the rocks were very slippery and it was difficult even for someone who is fit! If possible I would go in pairs as hiking on my own felt precarious. Beautiful view at the top! Coming down was even more slippery. Be warned! If I were to rate it: 8.5/10. Velika Osojnica offers one of those travel experiences where the effort genuinely matches the reward, you climb a bit, you wind through woodland, and then you’re rewarded with one of the iconic views of Lake Bled. If you have limited time, it’s a strong contender for a half-morning or afternoon activity. It won’t be ideal if you expect a flat promenade or if you have limited mobility, but for anyone comfortable walking up steepish trails it’s highly worthwhile. Steep but short hike to a view thats more than worth it. Going up took around 35 minutes and down about 20. Did this trail as our sunrise hike of the holiday, was well worth the climb! I would definitely recommend walking boots/ appropriate footwear as ground could be quite steep, uneven, and loose. Some moments were quite testing, however we were pacing it to make it on time so could be easier at a leisurely pace haha!
