My main complaint would be the waitress bringing out the food in random order; the coffee came first, got cold, and was finished by the time the pie came. Food was served in 4minutes after order (heated in microwave, can be heard). There is no way to make pork in 4min and “Cepelin” the same story. But tasted ok. Poor English communication. Coffee average. Not worth for the price. Just across the road is great bubble vaffle and better coffee (no other normal food options). Cafe is in wooden house in the nice location. You can see the water mill from the terrace. We had booked the food in advance. And the host was waiting for us and provide service quickly. We ate delicious sorrel soup, chicken rolls with potatoes and salad and the cake with ice cream. Food was tasty, portions are large. The host is friendly, tries to interest. We will come to eat to Gervinė if we come to Ginučiai. Very cosy place to stop with a family for a lunch! Potato pancakes were bland. Staff is cheerful and helpful, but the owner that was at the restaurant at that time and made regular remarks to the customers, made the atmosphere awkward. Stayed for lunch and had a pleasant time. The terrace is neat, the food was good and the service was very friendly. We appreciated that the menu was translated into english and we could place our order in english as well. Highly recommend. I had high hopes based on the menu descriptions and promise of home-style cooking, but unfortunately the experience didn’t match. The dish I ordered came with low-quality frozen mixed vegetables, and the dish was diffrent from it's description on the meniu. The waitress seemed disinterested. The setting was nice, but overall the food and service left a lot to be desired.
