Huge thank you to Mountain View markets for creating such an alternative market space for traders worldwide. It’s on such lovely ground located just 10 mins outside of Kilkenny city centre. It is so beautiful. The stalls and traders are all amazing, bringing together such a unique atmosphere. The food is out of this world. We tried the Indian, and the Bao buns along with the apple crumble. Some of the food was that good I forgot to take a picture. We headed up to the restaurant afterwards and my god the food was amazing. The staff are all so lovely and friendly and breathtaking gorgeous. It is really all such a nice vibe. Well done. We had driven from Dublin and it took us an hour and 20 mins to get here. The car park is €3 so make sure you have cash for that. The market is also only on a Sunday from 10am- 5pm Fabulous location, well run and parking was very well laid out. Markets were excellent. The Food vendor we visited was over priced for what you got the burgers where delicious but we could count the few chips that we got not value at €34euro for two burgers and chips with one can of 7 up. Such a wonderful place with a wonderful Sunday market. Great foods, great handcrafted stuffs and beautiful location. Amazing gorgeous place with alpacas and swans and a crazy view, lots of food and a big green area This is a fantastic destination for a family outing! There’s an abundance of food options to try, a designated picnic area, scenic walking trails, and adorable alpacas and goats to enjoy. Parking is just 2 euros, so be sure to bring some coins. I highly recommend indulging in the bubble waffle, pulled pork from the Hog Roast, almond croissant, dulce de leche cruffin, corn dog, and grilled sausage. A huge thank you to Chloe, Sam, and the entire team for making my sister’s baby shower so incredibly special yesterday. We celebrated in the outdoor area of the restaurant, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The space felt so private and welcoming, with a beautifully decorated long table that set the scene just right. The food and drinks were absolutely lovely, and the personalised touches—like my sister’s name on the menu with her own special mocktail—really made the day feel unique and thoughtful. There was plenty of room for photos, games, and relaxing with our guests, and everyone kept commenting on how wonderful everything was. From start to finish, it was seamless - a truly memorable day for such a special occasion. Thank you again for going above and beyond!
