From Brașov it takes you between 30 to 50 minutes to arrive at the parking place. Beware cars are not allowed inside the road's you will have to pay a big fine if the rangers catch you. When you arrive you have a few options that you can take. Straight from the parking place inside the first birch which is 99% made of birch tree. Second will be a bit to the right next to the birch forest. Or full right to the forst in the distance which is made of conifers and birches and you have the paths marked for bike rides and horseback riding. I am going the for the last 6-7 years and every year we manage to find a few new things in the middle of the forest, like cabins, food supply spots for animals, bird observatory and a lot of mushrooms, deer and birds in every season. Keep your eyes open and enjoy every second of the walk. Maybe is best of you leave your phone in the car so you can enjoy every second of it. Keep the place clean and if possible maybe if you find garbage just take a spare garbage bag with you and fill it up every bit of garbage that is out of the woods helps. A wonderful place for family activities, sports, and romantic walks. If you love and peacefulness, this is the place. There are endless opportunities. Pleasant walks in and by the birch forest. Generous open green hills. Bicycle tracks. Grab a blanket and have a pick nick (of course, no fire, as the is old and wood dry) or doz off for a while. A photographer paradise. And many more. Accesul se face pe un drum neasfaltat, foarte nasol, doar o masina de teren ar face față. Nu există indicatoare in zonă. It is a wonderful forest! The birch trees are not easy to be found. To find them we've crossed half of the forest, a plow-land, a few open spaces, and some wetlands. The trails are wide, easy to follow, and suitable for trekking and biking. There are a few sheepfolds around the forest, therefore I advise you to stay on the trails. The road gets bumpy for a few kilometers but it's normal I guess, we're in the countryside. I dearly recommend the place! Please ignore the human dirt! Nice experience on bicycle through the trees, although we walked for only half an hour. The scenery is beautiful, the place is very quiet and there are some information panes on the track. There are bicycle tracks available but a in the is also of great value. Please be advised that entering with a car is only permitted a few meters inside the park.
