Theres a small but thriving coffee shop come ice cream parlour with friendly staff. Toilets clean and tidy and during summer seasons even a massive inflatable waterpark supplying wetsuit and buoyancy aides. Nice for kids or adults alike. It's a beautiful place to go for a walk in nature and it's only a short drive from Killaloe. Picnic tables, benches and huge grassy to put down a blanket. A slipway at the pier, an aqua obstacle course and there was coffee, ice cream and toilets available. (Was the weekend, great weather). Plenty of parking. very beautiful place, very quiet and clean. with a beautiful landscape. very nice for a picnic and I recommend going summer to play and enjoy the sun. A lovely relaxing spot for a picnic with the family. I use my kayak here often. There are park benches and ducks to feed. A small forest for an adventure with kids. And you can swim till your hearts content.
