I recently dined at Matt The Thresher Inn and had an excellent experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that were well worth the price. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, making the entire visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal and outstanding service. Beautiful restaurant with plenty of parking to the rear. Lovely outside dining if you wish. A very busy place so would advise rebooking. Fabulous food beautifully presented. Friendly welcoming staff. We’ve stopped in Matt the Threshers many times over the years. It is always absolutely delicious. Cannot fault it. We recently stopped by and got a fabulous dinner and the best chocolate cake we’ve ever had for dessert. Highly highly recommend this restaurant. Possibly the best fish I have had to date in Ireland, ever. Fresh fish cooked to perfection! Delicious!!!!! We recently went to a branch of this restaurant in Dublin and loved it so tried our local one!! The food was even better! Staff were fabulous and very efficient! We went on a Tuesday night so it was as expected a bit quiet! I had the mussels to start which were spot on, lovely sauce! Followed by the Cod, green beans and a cherry tomato 🍅, boiled new potatoes! It was so perfectly cooked 10/10. My wife had the scampi and said the were even better than the Dublin ones! I raved all evening!! No room for dessert. Pictures to follow!
