The place is very beautiful. The remains of the are quite impressive. The is hardly accessible, climbing is not easy and it takes time. A beautiful short trail, the climb takes about half an hour, be careful, there are snakes along the way. The fort is worth the climb. Great view. Marked trail. It needs around 30-40 min to climb up. Well signposted. a great place for a short hike. Must have when you are in Sutomore! Beautiful ruins of with amazing view of Sutomore and Bar. The is hidden a bit with no signs telling where it is. Once on a trail, just follow the red circles painted on the trees and stones. One of the many heritage of the Venetian Republic in Montenegro. Worth to visit, and nice panorama 😊 Beautiful on top of the hill overlooking Sutomore and offering views of Bar as well. There are multiple trails leading to the top, the shortest ones being from Zagradje. Just search in google “Haj Nehaj Hiking Trail” and use that route. I tried one more from the quarry but it takes longer. The walls of the are well preserved, and inside the one can see remains of the church as well. And just wonder what life used to look like for people living here more than 2 centuries ago :) An amazing hidden gem. Follow the red and white signs all the way up, it is very well marked, some parts of the path are a little overgrown and steep but nothing too challenging. Takes about 35 mins to walk up from the road. The old fort is amazing, loads of places to explore and almost nobody else up there.
