Stunning, beautiful place to visit. €5 adults and €1 children under 14. Historical place well a visit. Stary Bar is a place that takes us straight back to the Middle Ages. Located on the slopes of the majestic Rumija Mountain, it offers not only stunning views, but also the opportunity to commune with history. Walking among the ruins, I felt like an explorer who was revealing the next pages of the mysterious past. You can feel the power and significance of this city in the past. The light of the setting sun adds even more magic to this place. The shadows lengthen, and the stones take on warm shades. In such a setting, it is easy to travel back in time and imagine how the inhabitants of Stary Bar led their everyday lives. However, it must be remembered that Stary Bar is primarily ruins. This place suffered as a result of the earthquake in 1979, which additionally intensifies the impression of transience and fragility of human works. A to Stary Bar is an unforgettable experience for lovers of and beautiful views. This is a place that allows you to break away from everyday life and immerse yourself in a different reality. I recommend it to everyone who wants to feel the spirit of the past and appreciate the beauty of nature. Very beautiful place, there is a small street next to the that has many souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants. Some of the souvenir stores have olive oil, handmade soap and other items they make themselves. Cute Cats ans dogs are everywhere and are super friendly. Cool place! a visit. Well preserved and lots to see. The from the top is phenomonous. Remember to take water with you on hot days, it's a bit of a climb. There is also a faucet at the entrance if you have your own bottle with you, you can fill it for free. To the right before the main entrance starts alley with restaurants and shops, remember to check them at the same visit! :) Historic fort visiting, 5€ admission. Ask for a map with more information, a loop is signposted with arrows as well. Beautiful over the mountains and the old town. Parking nearby on a square. The is large, there is a place to walk, a beautiful view of the mountains and Stari Bar. Of the minuses - little shade, so on a hot day I do not recommend coming during the day, and the price is expensive 5€ per person. Spactacular ruins. Due to large area you won’t feel crowds. There’s extensive information about Bar in the museum. You should dedicate some time for walking and visiting different chambers. There’s water fountain, toilet. Старинная крепость развалины We had an amazing here. Only €5 entry for an adult, then you can wander around for as long as you would like. There was so much to see, so would recommend having a rest halfway through or at least avoiding the hottest part of the day! So many lovely viewpoints, great for getting pictures. Information on the buildings, ruins, and was available too. Would definitely recommend, it was a great day trip from the coast! Very nice Fort, I liked the augmented reality QR Codes which explain things through your phone and show you how buildings used to be. 5 euros entry, don't expect too much from the toilets Recently, when visiting Montenegro, I was honestly at a loss for what to do and I randomly chose a tour that just happened to include a to this old fortress. Turned out to be such a great choice. The of the overlooking Stari Bar are an amazing archeological site. From the main gate to the Prince's Palace, the are dripping with and endlessly picturesque. Note that, hiking the site can be challenging at times. Many of the stone surfaces are smooth and slippery after centuries of weathering and foot traffic. But that caveat aside, Old Bar and the citadel are must-sees when visiting Montenegro. Polecam… The Old Bar is a wonderful historic site that is definitely visiting. It offers a unique atmosphere and stunning views, with ancient that bring the past to life. I highly recommend going early in the morning—there are no tourists yet, so the walk feels almost private and peaceful. It’s a perfect spot for lovers, photography enthusiasts, or anyone looking to enjoy a quiet moment in a truly authentic setting. This was by far the most beautiful place we visited during our trip to Montenegro — and we explored quite a few: Budva, Kotor, Sutomore, Petrovac, Bar, and Stari Bar. The charm of this place is unmatched. Surrounded by mountains, with breathtaking panoramic views, it's perfect for a peaceful 1.5 to 2-hour walk. The paths are easy to follow, and there are plenty of great photo spots along the way. It's not overcrowded, which makes it even more enjoyable. A hidden gem that truly captures the beauty of Montenegro! Much larger than I expected. Great to see so many explanatory boards, and in English too. The exhibition areas were good too. There is so much to see and so many walkways and stairwells. 5 Euro entry (much cheaper than Kotor at 15 Euro pp) but plenty to explore with some fantastic viewpoints. Vredi obići, karta po osobi je 5€. U toku su bili radovi na rekonstrukciji . Nažalost vodičsa play store nije moga da skenirano QR kodove kod znamenitosti. Zwiedzanie bez przewodnika, nieograniczony czas. Polecam. Great raw experience. The for sure needs some investment, but it’s a cool place to regardless. Entrance is 5 eur and even if you’re not into history, you can enjoy greats views. Very lovely! Overgrown but well maintained ruin. A lot of nice views. Adult ticket costs €5 and child ticket costs €1. No student discount but even for adult price it was definitely it! Walked around for 3 hours, learned a lot about the old city. Very nice place, full of history. Near parking. Entrance fee 5€. Must see location - a beautifully preserved city and citadel. Definitely the trip. The kids e enjoyed roaming freely in the different street and found every nook and cranny. Visiting old town remnants, especially is always exciting! Old city Bar is important part of trip in Montenegro, even with children. Breathtaking view from the top of the wall was unforgettable! Interesting point was fig trees growing within the walls)! Very nice view. A lot of restaurants, bars and souvenir shops in walkthrough. 4 stars because of prices. All over 12 yeas old pay 5€ to enter, and under 12 pays 3€. Not the money, comparing to, let's say Kalemegdan in Belgrade, where entrance is free and you need few hours to walk around all, with much more content to see and enjoy . It's a really cool place, you feel the medieval spirit in every building and street. It's kinda a travel machine to the 10-12 century. By the way nice of the town and mountains. Красивое место My favorite :) Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
