Walking among the ruins, I felt like an explorer who was revealing the next pages of the mysterious past. You can feel the power and significance of this city in the past. The light of the setting sun adds even more magic to this place. The shadows lengthen, and the stones take on warm shades. In such a setting, it is easy to travel back in time and imagine how the inhabitants of Stary Bar led their everyday lives. However, it must be remembered that Stary Bar is primarily ruins. This place suffered as a result of the earthquake in 1979, which additionally intensifies the impression of transience and fragility of human works. There was so much to see, so would recommend having a rest halfway through or at least avoiding the hottest part of the day! So many lovely viewpoints, great for getting pictures.
