Dogs are okay as long as they’re on leashes and of course their owner cleans up after them – that goes without saying but sadly we need to remind some owners to be mindful of others. With more than an adequate amount of car spaces along the road above, there’s no problem getting a park even at peak times on both sides of the road. Now with everything opening up in Victoria, this is an old favourite that needs to be re-visited to get the economy going and to enjoy the new Ocean Grove if you haven’t seen it in a long while. Well worth a visit. Im from the Gold Coast and I this was pretty darn good. They have grassy areas for those who don’t like getting sandy which was cool. But yeah not bad at all. Very clean beach. Had a lot of fun. You can swim and make sandcastles, good fun for the kids. The water was very salty, but there wasn't much seaweed. I would definitely recommend this to anybody coming to Ocean Grove. Spent New years day 2025 down Ocean Grove perfect weather and a beautiful a great walk from Barwon Heads to Ocean Grove surf beach. Gorgeous beach! We went on a busy day and there was still plenty of room without having to walk too far down from the main beach. Downside is the parking when it's busy, but apart from that lovely beach. This is clean and lovely for a warm summer day.
