I took my mum here and we had a lovely time. There is a car park but it was very small so we ended up parking on the street. When we walked in the bar area was very loud and full of people but when we were shown through to the restaurant it was much quieter and had a lovely atmosphere. The were very and attentive. The food was very well cooked and the portions were massive! Great food at a reasonable price. were and welcoming Not had food there for a few years but it's always booked out and it was great when we went, but it's a well run pub with a local feel and a pleasant and we quite often stop of when on a walk or on our way back from somewhere. Visited for lunch today for Father's Day. Very yummy Sunday lunch, very close to homemade. Lots of meat, veg and gravy. The cheesecake for dessert was also delicious. Service was quite slow but the restaurant was very busy so understandable. The were very and helpful, would definitely visit again. First visit today, will definitely go again. Amazing Sunday roast served very quickly and by really staff. Well worth a visit. Absolutely stunning meals and desserts. Lovely , very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Great . Will return again soon for Sunday lunch . Great little find 😀 Absolutely fantastic food. The servings are big and every mouthful is a delicious combination of flavours. A must visit! Immaculate cosy pub, with outstanding service and brilliant food! I have eaten in lots of pubs and they fail at getting the basics right! Not this one! It nailed the food, and service! Spotless and cosy! Well done!! Half the price of the Red Lion in Penderyn. Nicer staff. Better Sunday roast. Best in the area! Awful place told didn’t want to serve us refused too as we wasn’t from around here was made to feel very awkward! Don’t waste your time if you’re not a local and looked dirty inside anyway like it needs a good clean! Done us a favour have a look at the red cow inn in Main Road was fantastic and got great service!!!! Can’t fault the meals, beautiful food served. The downside is that they can’t accommodate large families but also won’t tell you this upon booking a table either. If you’d like a table for 10/12 people you will be expected to sit separately, just be mindful of that as management said they don’t tell people this when booking. Edit as requested by managements comment: a table was booked for 12 people, it is a fair assumption to make when booking a table at a restaurant that you will be sat together. As confirmed by managements comment, you will be expected to sit separately although this isn’t advised at time of booking. Wonderful night at red cow last night ,a surprise meal for my daughters 40th birthday Lovely cosy pub ,excellent food ,and were brilliant. There were 13 of us and everything was just perfect, was brilliant. We will definitely be returning Thank you everyone there for a perfect night we all had a great night. Lovely village pub, very warm, clean, bright, beautiful tasteful decoration with Excellent customer service. The made me welcome and showed me around. They have a beautiful set restaurant and I'm looking forward to making another visit soon. This place is completely unacceptable. The were rude, dismissive, and showed zero interest in helping. I was told they had no food, which was clearly a lie, as others were being served. Even worse, the place was filthy. Absolutely disgraceful conditions. I will not be back, and I strongly recommend others stay away. Wow! What a gem, a gastronomic experience disguised as a cosy local public house. Amazing food, perfectly presented and worth every penny. Will definitely be returning soon. Fantastic food in this beautiful pub. We were a big party of 20 plus and the chef cooked every meal to perfection. Absolutely delicious!!! Abby ( manageress) is so welcoming and professional and went above and beyond to make sure our evening was perfect. Highly recommend. Gorgeous little pub. Visited on our way home for a well earned last night special dinner after a long camper van tour. Dog also which was even better. Very welcoming and locals. Food is great, the four of us had fish & chips, lamb burger and prawn & scallop creamy tomato pasta. The chips were homemade, fresh battered fish, lovely homemade lamb burger and a very tasty seafood pasta dish. Everything came out looking very fresh, well cooked and presented. Would definitely come back here again if we come past on our tours. Visited for the first time last week for a meal with friends and already booked to come back again for an anniversary meal! Food is absolutely stunning, I had the belly pork, it was cooked to perfection and the portions are huge! The was really good and were friendly, the pub itself is clean and inviting.
