Just finished our 2 day micro bakery course. Liz is professional and very personable, sharing her skills, a very supportive, enaberling baker and course. Highly recommend, attention to detail was amazing. I feel equipped and supported to start my journey as a maker and grow. Currently on my practice 6 bakes per recipe. 3 words. Thank you Helen sunlightbees Spent the most fabulous day yesterday completing the Italian workshop with Liz at Ma Bakers, I’m very much a beginner to & came home feeling more confident & with some really handy tips, the other ladies on the workshop were lovely, had a great time, fabulous, fun atmosphere with the ability to progress my skills & we got to sample some of our at lunch as well as being able to bring it all home. Loved it & can’t wait for the next workshop 😃 I attended to sourdough course with Liz. It has solved all of my sourdough baking problems and I'm now able to make amazing loaves of tasty sourdough. Liz is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. The day was well structured, with a delicious lunch and a beautiful setting. I have already recommended the course to friends and relatives and hope to attend another course in the future. We had a brilliant time with Liz and fellow bakers. Loved learning all about on the Introduction to course. Liz is a 5 star teacher and serves up a fabulous lunch too. We are looking forward to returning again. I absolutely loved this Sourdough course from start to finish. Liz our tutor was so knowledgeable and friendly, everything easy to follow and fun at the same time. We learnt the different techniques behind the different types of dough and came away a big bag of different breads. Beautiful refreshments during the day which just flew past. Best course ever, great teacher, thanks Liz :) I returned for my second bread-making course with Liz - this time, sourdough baking. The day was an absolute pleasure. Liz plans the day, and has planned the lovely room, to make the experience very relaxing and sociable. We were also treated to excellent food. But most importantly I came away having been expertly taught how to make a range of breads as well as crackers, which all genuinely look and taste fantastic. Although I'm not an experienced baker, the course set me up with skills, ideas and recipes that have enabled me to produce to the same high standard as those done under Liz's guidance on the day. I'm really set up now to bake at a much higher level going forward. I thoroughly recommend this course to anyone wanting to develop their baking. Enjoyed a fabulous Sourdough Baking day in Liz's lovely kitchen in Wales. Her knowledge is second to none and I learnt so much about sourdough baking. The small class of 4 meant it was very hands on, great fun and relaxed. We made so many loaves from a white cob to focaccia to a lovely sultana rye loaf - all delicious and I will definitely be trying them out at home. Liz made us amazing brownies and coffee as well as a delicious lunch of local cheeses and focaccia. Highly recommend I’ve been wanting to attend one of Liz’s courses for ages! I enjoyed it so much. What Liz managed to pack in to 4 hours was incredible. She is so knowledgeable and such a good teacher. Such fun to do with a group of friends. I can see myself Rye and Sourdough on a regular basis but I enjoyed everything we made. I will of course be my own butter now too, an added bonus for a day of top tips. Thank you so much Liz.
