The Druid Inn is an excellent place to stay if you're walking the Offa's Dyke path. Sam, the owner is able to transport the guests to the start of each day's walk and collect them later that day. Great breakfast to start the day! I recommend this pub for this part of the walk. Sam is very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great little holiday! We stayed over in our campervan with our dogs, one who is nervous so can be reactive. We received a very warm welcome, they even found us a room to eat our dinner in that no one else would be using so we could eat in the pub instead of the van. We received excellent service friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and well presented. Excellent stay over. Thank you. Didn’t stay over. Came for a pub meal. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Good selection on menu. The starters of whitebait and Stilton mushrooms were fab and hot. Main courses were nice enough but only the mash was hot, veg luke warm, plates could do with being hot too Great location with amazing views. Cosy bar and dining area and more formal dining room also. Seats outside are a good choice if weather permits. Good selection of drinks and food, food was very good. Highly recommended It's the staff who make The Druid Inn a terrific place to visit. We stayed for 3 nights while doing Offa's Dyke Path, and were made to feel very welcome. The staff transported us to the start of our walk each day and collected us in the afternoons - with plenty of conversation to keep us entertained. The restaurant menu was extensive enough to keep our interest, and the food excellent. We appreciated the big breakfasts and packed lunches. The rooms are compact but well equipped and comfortable. We stayed as we were walking Offa’s Dyke. They graciously picked us up and brought us to the hotel. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was welcoming. The dinner options were quite good, and desert was excellent. It was a great stay and we got a full nights rest. Really cannot fault this place! Stayed for a couple of nights on my own and the room was clean, comfy and safe. The food is amazing, both dinner and breakfast, and the pub is clearly very popular. All staff have a smile on their face and are happy to help with whatever you need. Now I've found the Druid, I think I will be back. A recent visit with some friends for a meal,we are very local,so close it should be a regular place ,sadly not,my meal was a lamb tagine, sounded nice !! Indeed it would have been if a little spice was used. Unfortunately this is annoying, I had a meringue roulade, there was no meringue, a thin slither of roulade appeared with a drizzle of sauce £7 approx, something with almost zer0 labour at a great cost,No more support or visits Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
