This is a gastro pub with a atmosphere and good rooms. The was very slow tonight but I understand that's due to exceptional staff absences. The food was good, but a little unadventurous and quite expensive. I would have liked to see more local Welsh dishes and desserts. Still a good restaurant and I would recommend. Lots of car parking but we had to park in the overflow car park on the other side of an A road, which didn't feel very safe crossing. Absolutely amazing food... beautiful home cooked... feels like a big warm hug.... I didn't want potatoes so got extra veg... I wish I were here for a Sunday roast, but this place was lovely... I will deffo try to come back when im next in Wales. My son lives 20 minutes away and we have eaten here twice. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night. The local beer is good, the food is and the is excellent. What more do you want from a countryside Inn. Car parking is adjacent with extra overspill parking on the other side of the road. We visited last night and the meal, and atmosphere was fantastic. We had our dog with us and we was treated like royalty with plenty of treats, water and lots of attention. Worth every single penny. 👌 Visited The Goat while holidaying in snowdonia. A fantastic pub, menu choices, lush food and was fab. We were in and out within 1.5 hours, having had mains and pudding. Went in for 5pm as it opened, so one of the first ones in, however by the time we left it was packed, showing how popular it is.
