Me and my family really enjoyed visiting these gardens, covered with beautiful trees especially palm ones! The flowers are glorious in colours from pink to orange, plants are out in full show too. Pathway is super clean and the hut is a well preserved old building, even able to be sat in now! Lovely place to stop and contemplate or simply take in the beautiful flora A lovely space well designed with so many pleasant features. The park includes a small pond and a children's play area that comes with a really good assault course. There are good quality facilities for floodlit tennis here too. A beautiful garden surrounding the Penlee art gallery. Unfortunately when we visited it was pouring with rain so didn't linger. Lots of colour though. Visited for an evening of outdoor theatre. "The Pirates of Penzance" Absolutely Outstanding performance by the 6 members of the illyria theatre company. Gilbert and Sullivan would be proud. Very nice part well-kept A lovely park in Penzance. Lots of nice plants and trees. The Orangery, situated in the park, is a great cafe to take a breath. Penlee Park in the summer has an amazing program of talented musicians and theatre groups playing for reasonably priced tickets. It's a beautiful space for the audience to enjoy performances outdoors while enjoying your own byo picnic if you so choose. (although there is a bar available). Special mention to the DOT Production theatre team who performed a brilliant rendition of Sense and Sensibility. Just so enjoyable with a very clever script. (well done Dawn Bush) Comical and extremely entertaining. Hope we can book to see them next year.
