This is a lovely with some lovely plants and views. It's easy to do a nice circular walk which takes in all of the garden. There's a nice mixture of woodland and formal gardens. The are fairly well maintained although some pruning is needed to open up some of the paths which would be difficult to access if you were in a wheelchair. On the map all of the benches are marked which is really handy and I've not seen that before. There's a lovely seeing delicious cakes, lunches and drinks. Free carpaking is also a bonus. Great woodland walks plus more formal bedding. Allow an hour + to enjoy the walk. Some uneven ground, some steps and a couple of minor bridges. Lovely cornish garden. Perhaps past it's absolute best in September, but still worth a visit. Nice gardens. Good long distant views out to the sea from the top. and gift shop. Well worth a visit if in the area. Beautiful but fairly small garden, perfect place to go and relax for a few hours. Lovely views from the top and a great variety of plants and trees. Much is accessible. Nice in the walled area Beautiful just outside Penzance. Woodlands, walled and a breathtaking terrace views across Mounts Bay to The Lizard. There is a shop and as always a for refreshments. If you're disabled with limited mobility they have partnered with Countryside mobility allowing you the use of their electric Tramper Buggy for a small fee of £3/day or £5 for 2 wks if you plan visiting other attractions they support. Beautiful and views. This is an idyllic tucked away a few miles from Penzance. The Summer of Play meant loads of activities for children and families. Really friendly staff and a lovely cafe. This is a great outside escape for a few hours. Such an amazing place with beautiful walks and fascinating gardens, a great in stunning surroundings. Really enjoyed it, not a massive but a good place to spend two or three hours. Dogs welcome and some beautiful amazing plants if your into tropical style planting. As a member of the national trust id say definitely visit but if not and paying on the day you might find it expensive for what is actually there. Just make yourself a member and visit lots of other beautiful places all year round Brilliant well worth a visit. Love the Tree ferns and the walled gardens. Lovely selection of exotics. Beautiful, dog friendly, easy to access gardens. The second hand book shop is very well stocked, staff chatty and helpful and a good selection of plants and gifts in the NT shop/ entrance-exit point. Car parking and overflow parking if required. This isn't a massive but we visited when the azaleas, camellias, and rhododendron were out and it was beautiful. Easy access paths for wheelchairs or pushchairs too which is good to find. The only had a limited menu on the day we went as they had been busier than anticipated but the food was nice and service excellent. As most NT places these days refreshments are fairly expensive but not too extortionate. Gift and book shops were well stocked. Very enjoyable few hours indeed.
