It can be a long difficult on the cobblestones across the causeway without the correct footwear though. It can only be accessed at low or by boat. Beautiful sandy on the eastern side of Mounts Bay in southern Cornwall. It has the added bonus of St Michael's Mount just offshore, which at low can be reached on foot via the causeway, but you usually have to get the back! There is a small memorial at the car park, dedicated to HMS Warspite, a famous WW1 battleship that ran aground in nearby Prussia Cove in 1947, which was subsequently refloated and towed into the lee of St Michael's Mount, where she spent the next few years being broken up for scrap. St. Michael's Mount is nice for photos from the shore and a lovely Causeway to when the is out of there are boats going back and forth with the last being 17:00pm. The boats need to be booked in advance and online. We missed the last boat, so didn't make it out there, but we did a fair bit of the Causeway that was uncovered by the sea as the receded. The sea was blue and warm. St Michael's Mount was magical. I'd definitely visit again. When we visited at 10am in the morning, we had to take a trip for reaching the St Michael island. However, in the next 1 hour, water receded away from the and the boats were on the ground. There is a walking way from the to the island which is a new experience for us. We enjoyed the scenic views from the which is at the top of island.
