Excellent hidden wild off the beaten track. Set around several large ponds with lot's of wildlife and exotic vegetation. What an interesting place to visit. The woodland is lovely and the trees looked beautiful. You can feed the ducks that follow you around which is quote a novelty. There are a lot of seats around d the site to appreciated the view from: from the pools to the twisting pathways. They do a fantastic lemon cake too! Visited again this week. Great for kids who love to explore, lots of lakes / ponds, some very well stocked with huge fish. There's games dotted around for children and adults alike to play including a huge chess board. We really enjoy it here and it's never overly busy so great for getting away from the crowds in peak season and it's very fairly priced. Would highly recommend. Take wellies or walking boots after heavy rains. Oh good little cafe for drinks and delicious cake too! What a great little hidden gem. So quirky and very pretty. The owner was very welcoming. Very nice place for young and adults. Well maintained, calm and refreshing. Kids can have amazing here, exploring nooks and corners of the garden, play hide and seek, large chess, tic tac toe. There are peacocks, ducks and few other birds. As an adult I liked the witty small notes and art spread around the whole garden. Few spots are very picturesque and designed to be accessible. Even elderly parents were able to walk around and they have provided free wooden sticks for support. Overall highly recommended if you are in an around Cornwall. Had a great there for my granddaughters first birthday. Magical. Easy to find loads of parking An amazing and quirky wild with a suprise around every corner. A haven for wildlife and a wonderful place to visit. Fabulous and fun. Acres of ponds and trees with amusing wood sculptures and a mini "Eden Project On A Tight Budget"! Great for adults and kids. Really nice guy who owns it and does the sculptures. Beware of the crocs... Stunning. A heady mix of nature, garden, peace and magnificent humour. We come to Cornwall every year and it is one of our 'must visit' places. Allow plenty of and choose a nice day, so many places to sit quietly and absorb the tranquillity. Definitely worth a visit. We had a great adults and kids alike. So much to see and very funny, the gardens were full of little trails to go off an explore. Thank you we will be back. Great place for kids and families, I visited alone but enjoyed it. So much to see, just when you think you've seen everything there is another path leading to more. The owners have a good sense of humour and have incorporated many magical and Came here as the nearby National Trust was closed (we’ll check next on the website). So glad that happened. Tanglewood is a truly bazaar and idiosyncratic delight. I only wish that my imagination was as quirky as the owners. On the day we went we had the to ourselves and were able to laugh without feeling self conscious about it. It is a celebration of British humour, pluck and sheer bloody mindedness, all for no apparent reason other than, and I quote the owner ‘ coz I wanted to dig a pond’! Wonderfull and so well executed.
