Note-- don't moan about how hot the food is as they don't keep it warm so they don't have to charge you the hot food tax ! Just luck if the pies have just come out of the oven!! ♨️ Stopped for coffee, cake. Wasn't too busy, sat inside. Limited parking spaces available. Service bit slow but friendly, helpful. Great to stop for snack, lunch eat in or takeaway. Great bakery food. Dear Greg's, do yourself a favour and sack your at this establishment for ones that want to uphold your normally excellent service and food quality. Not only was the service extremely slow the attitude of the was disgusting. After 20mins of waiting, moving out of the way of members who don't say excuse me or thank, I walked out with a hot drink only. I asked for a chicken Bake ( circa 9 on display), to be told they are not warm! I asked for a Steak Bake (circa 6 on display), to be told they are not warm. I asked if any thing was warm? to be told nope. I ordered a coffee and walked out with other waiting customers leaving with me without ordering. 3 members, one with no customer interaction skills and felt it acceptable to still sell food that was not hot (Food Safety and Hygiene (England) Regulations 2013 and the Food Safety Act 1990), one walking around with very little interest to adding any value, and one sat with her feet on a seat watching it all fail. Unless things change I won't use this place nor will I recommend it. If it improves, I will retract this review and write a noone which I truly hope is an improvement. Sorry Greg's. Lovely staff! I come here often for lunch or before work and they remember me and know what coffee I usually order. Always kind and polite and meet me with a smile! I wish I remembered their names but I know Yeneva. She is really nice and a little chat with her in the morning makes my day. Started coming here since Costa got ridiculously expensive and I don’t regret switching. This is the only Greggs I have been to where the "Hot Food" is that cold first thing in the morning that is definitely not fresh and is never hot. The most disappointing Greggs I've ever been to. Giving the training would resolve the issue as the location is perfect Well I went there for a bacon and egg roll the girl behind the counter was nice enough maybe they should call this roll the Lewis hammalton roll because I spent the night sitting on my bathroom floor with it coming out of me at 100 miles an hour the toilet is a lonely place at 3 am my poor misses had to put up my this all night it's her I feel sorry for I'm not the best when I'm ilna bit of a wimp really but I'm sure you can understand the sound of me screening here we go again maybe entertaining for my neighbour thinking the big bloke next door is at it again but now we all know the truth I love you jem and sorry but it was Gregg's fault not mine Does exactly what it says on the tin, lovely very friendly. Come here often and it's always great - are always friendly and a great range of food available, both in the morning and for lunch. Great value for money. Coffees are always nice too.
