Very nice Sunday roast, where polite very clean and tidy. £45 for 2 roasts and 2 drinks very reasonable these days. Would visit again. Gorgeous breakfast! Our Full English was delicious 🤤 The location is with lots of outside seating and a big green space with a pond. It’s dog friendly outside only, but was all good as it’s outside seating weather. Stopped for a light lunch of a small steak and pizza! Delicious food and excellent service. Decent farm that also sells a full range of Cornish gins, wines etc! Fantastic place!!! Stunning looking as you arrive and the farm is really well laid out and looks spotless and clearly very well looked after! We came here for breakfast before leaving to go back to London. Food was so good and nicely presented and very fresh. Coffee was good too. I have bought some goodies from the for gifts and I’m sure they’ll be tasty. We also bought a homemade Bakewell tart each to have later with coffee. Oh my!! I would travel back the 193 miles to get another haha. Delicious!!! We also bought a leg of lamb from the butcher and yet to eat that but pretty confident it’ll be good. Well worth a visit!! Wonderful place. Beautiful setting both outside and inside. and great table service ( if required) Wonderful selection of snacks, quick bites, meals and desserts along with the hot and cold drinks aswell as the alcoholic variety. Also a farm shop, can recommend the sausages and to look at the butchers section. lots of the home made variety ...jams, marmelades, chutneys, bread, quiches to name a just a few. Really worth popping into spot. Stopped for lunch, had the soup which was delicious. Menu was, in my opinion, a little limited. But the cakes are superb. So if you want coffee or tea and a cake, before or after, visiting the farm shop, then great Excellent wheelchair access. Flat carpark and area around and restaurant. Beautiful views and staff. Afternoon tea was great, plenty of food which tasted great. Service from the gentleman that waited on us was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning. were really friendly and inviting! They let us take our time with the menu and were quite helpful when it came to allergies. I had the vegan burger and it was so delicious! The layers of flavour were awesome 😎 oh and their chai latte is so yummy! Will definitely go back! Although there was nothing inviting at the front from the car park it was nice inside. Good coffee and the were lovely. Had a long chat with the butcher who was passionate about local provenance. He was a thoroughly nice guy. Could probably do with some signage to tell your story of where the meat comes from, especially at a time when we need to champion our farmers. A experience. are to be congratulated as their happy vibe certainly rubbed off Excellent farm with quality products , restaurant is spacious, overlooks well kept grounds, pond and open country views. Welcoming and attentive staff. Good local produce sold and cooked on site. Cake not to be missed. Theme nights and local craft fairs. Large car park. We were really looking forward to our visit, but unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Service was painfully slow — we waited around 30 minutes to even receive our food, during which time we ordered another round of drinks we wouldn’t normally have had, simply because we were sat there for so long with nothing arriving. When the food finally came, it was underwhelming to say the least. I ordered the (very expensive) chicken burger, which was drenched in an oddly flavoured peri sauce that was so excessively spicy it actually burnt my mouth. The chicken itself was mostly fatty, and the portion of chips was surprisingly small considering the price. At no point did any check in on us after serving the food. After another 20 minutes of being ignored, we had to wave down a waiter just to raise our concerns. By this time, my one-year-old was in full meltdown mode from having been sat there so long, which led to a very stressful and embarrassing situation where I had to leave the table and stand outside in the wind and rain with my child. To make matters worse, even issuing the refund took an additional 15 minutes, leaving us stuck outside even longer. This wasn’t just inconvenient — it completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable meal. We also noticed other tables sending food back, which clearly indicates wider issues with both quality and service. Tre, Pol & Pen: if you can’t cater for the number of visitors you’re accepting, please turn people away rather than allow standards to drop to such a poor level. What could have been a dining experience turned into a stressful, overpriced, and thoroughly disappointing ordeal. Nice place with very friendly staff. Pricing for what you get is high. Breakfast came with a choice of eggs, had scrambled BUT only one egg so ended up with not more than a tablespoon of egg. Bacon, 1 slice so overdone could not even cut through. Only half a black pudding slice. Wife had kids breakfast and that was much better value. Should have had that and put extras on, it would have been cheaper!! Tre, Pol & Pen is a very nice venue to visit, and the are and friendly. However I cannot recommend the restaurant food, specifically the Sunday Roasts. Overcooked vegetables in a pile covered by a blanket of undercooked meat, surrounded by a deep moat of tasteless, greasy gravy probably from instant gravy granules. And sailing the gravy sea a huge puffed-up, cold Yorkshire putting flavoured as cardboard (as most of them served in Pubs are). And the whole dish served luke warm (bar the separate, obviously microwaved, and overcooked soggy cauliflower cheese). The pudding was equally bizarre. A poached pear island (that tasted nothing like a pear) in an ocean of vanilla! (Why?!) rice pudding, polluted by floating crumbs of soggy (ginger? hard to distinguish the flavour amid the noise of others) crumble. With side terrine of (more ginger) ice-cream. Edible (more so than the venison an Yorkshire pud) but distinctly uninspiring, not a dish I would order again or venture to emulate at home. The venue was clean and pleasant. The out door area was well maintained. The were attentive. My only complaint was that my meal was barely luke warm. It seemed to me that the meal had been waiting around for a while as the roast potatoes were soggy. The mentioned that it was exceptionally quiet for a Sunday, My partner and I stopped here on our way home. It’s such a gorgeous spot with space both inside and outside. We shared a breakfast bap and the mushrooms on sourdough. The cake selection looked incredible as well. If we were passing again we would definitely go back.
