Such a place, we visited twice during our holiday and both times we had excellent service and delicious food. The bar has a selection too if you just wanted a drink on the terrace. Be sure to book to be guaranteed a table, you’ll not be disappointed. Had a lovely club sandwich here, sat outside it was comfortable and very pleasant. I would definitely go again and preferred it to some of the other overpriced cafes along the front. Cracking spot. Were visiting NQ on holiday and wanted somewhere good for a spot of brunch. This popped up and glad we stopped. I had a full Welsh and it was great. Good service, friendly and we found a nice spot sitting outside. Indoors looked tidy and the amenities were clean and presentable. Would 100% visit again. I have been going to NQ my whole life and as I get older and have kids the nights out are few and far between. There are only two restaurants we booked during a recent 10 day summer stint to Ceredigion. Pepper Pot was by far the best meal we have had since eating out got so expensive. Every bite was worth every penny of the very reasonably priced menu. Healthy portions, wonderful quality fish, fresh and delicious. Always is. Consistently good food. And….the are local, seasoned, professional operators who understand the perfect recipe for a ‘suits all’ special meal, whilst also being able to appeal to visitors and locals alike. A really welcoming community feel with top notch food. Oh, and their live music Sundays are just wonderful. The kind of sing-along joy you just don’t get much these days. Brilliant. Especially as our rental house is directly opposite 😉 We had cocktail, starters, mains, wine each. The front of house were great, good menu, apart from 2 dishes being sold out by 7pm. Lovely atmosphere the food we had was excellent. However the chef for some inexplicable reason would not swap anything on a dish, my wife has a dairy intolerance, to not cater for this these days is totally unacceptable and this some what spoilt what would have been a dining experience. Such a shame. Glad we booked even on a Monday night! Food was delicious, friendly & service. Dog friendly which is a bonus! Lovely chatting to the owner too, a fantastic independent business… We’ll be back! Visited for my husband's birthday. Between three of us we had fish tacos and whitebait to start. Main courses of goats' cheese salad and a mixed seafood platter. Desserts of affogato and sticky toffee pudding. All delicious and topped off with friendly helpful staff. We had prebooked and were glad we did it is was busy. We ate in The Pepper pot early Saturday evening. What a lovely atmosphere and the service was fantastic. We had a sharing seafood platter which was amazing, everything was cooked to perfection and the mackerel pâté was the best I’ve tasted - highly recommend.
