Not a great location. Arrived and it was okay. Upon going in the caravan kids found rubbish toys and plasters under some of the beds. The dishes were not in great. Arcade dosent take money. You have to buy a play card. Rats were running around the bins near papa johns pizza. Rhe staff were friendly and some were very upbeat and entertaining. One or two lacked any enthusiasm at all. They definitely didnt want to be there. Night entertainment gor the kids was okay but dosent last long and is mainly dancing. Not many activities on compared to other havens. Aberystwyth is 40 mins drive away. Good views and castle to explore. Also a railway goes up a steep hill to a restaurant. Worth a visit. New quay was a quite fishing place not much to see. We’ve just had an excellent week! The caravans were lovely and clean. Every member of staff were amazing and so helpful they are a credit to the site. We are in the mash and barrel a few times and it was always lovely and hot. The chip shop and papa johns were excellent. The on shop is full of goodies for the kids and fridge/cupboard food with the most helpful staff. We booked onto a few activities which the kids loved and also the indoor pool. The beach is a short walk down to it and it’s a lovely beautiful beach. We also went into the town and went on the dolphin spotting boat trip which was super as they were right near us. I would definitely come back here again and will be telling my family and friends too! Thanks for an excellent stay we will be back. First time we've been to a haven in Wales. We've been to many all over the UK and never really had to look at the facilities. This department, i was quite disappointed with. My son is 15 and all he really had was the swimming pool and the pool tables. There's usually a high jump, carts to ride around the park and a football cage. (loves football) The crazy golf was ok but could do with a bit of attention. My daughter who's 10 wasn't allowed in the hot tub area of the swimming pool but has always been able to go in others. It seemed to me and my family that the is a bit behind with facilities. The staff were kind and helpful. The caravan was clean but smelt a bit funky. The scenery was incredible and we loved the dolphin boat trips. We will come to wales again but looking at going up north to the other haven which accommodates all ages!
