Came here for Date night and we both really enjoyed it. They have couple of vegan options. I had the bang bang cauliflower to start, which was very tasty. Followed by the Thai red curry also very good! Then the chocolate orange torte for dessert which was just ok. All vegan! My Husband has the Korean belly pork for his starter which he really enjoyed. Followed but the tandoori chicken burger and brownie for dessert, all of which he enjoyed. Overall really enjoyable meal, with friendly staff. Only reason this is 4* as I felt the dessert wasn't as good as the rest of the meal, also parking was tricky. However we will be coming back again. Heard tapas night and Sunday roasts are good so will be giving them a try at some point I hope! Oh my goodness - what a lovely place! It was our first visit here today, after looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. We sat in the bar area as we had our dog with us (who was more than welcome to be there, as everyone loved him, made such a fuss of him and spoilt him rotten - thank you so much !) The food was absolutely delicious! I had the beetroot wellington, my partner had the lamb and our son had a kids pork dinner. We couldn't fault any of it! There was plenty on our plates and plenty of extra veg to go around - our 5 year old son even said it was best 'chicken' he'd ever tasted! We will definitely be returning here and we can not recommend enough! 😍 Another lovely meal. We’ve tried the Sunday Roast, Tapas and ordinary food menu and everything is delicious. Last night I had the belly pork and could not recommend enough. My step dad had the home made pie and said it’s the best he’s ever had! Friendly welcoming and atmosphere. They are always great with my little one. We will be back again soon ☺️ From the moment we arrived we found the staff so friendly and helpful and then the food arrived-wow what can I say I just wish we lived closer to visit more often as it was another level. Really impressed and will return when in the area again thank you. We moved to the area just under 3 months ago and have visited on multiple occasions. We had a great Sunday roast. We came back for a Saturday lunch with a big group and every meal was cooked on time and perfectly. We had dishes ranging from the tapas menu to burgers and the belly pork and every dish was delicious. Cocktails are amazing. We are heading back with family for another lovely meal this Saturday ☺️ Highly recommend paying a visit if you are near! Wonderful food. The pork belly is exceptional. And very accommodating and friendly staff A great place for a traditional, home-cooked Sunday lunch. Enjoyed a 3-course lunch - at a very high standard. Main courses were excellent with all vegetable side dishes well presented. We could not make our mind up on dessert, so shared sticky toffee pudding and lemon merengue pie - both home-made and excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend, but do book ahead to avoid disappointment. Stumbles across the pub while on a hike and had a great Sunday roast!! Really good portions and amazing potatoes and gravy! Very well priced for the quality of food. Staff were lovely. Would definitely come back!
