Excellent wetherspoons. My first time here and will definitely return. I had a breakfast and it was delicious, with all aspects well cooked and hot. The staff were friendly both at the bar and on the floor and I saw them cleaning tables quickly after customers left. Calm, great customer service. The only negative was the cooked breakfast (bacon, black pudding) was overcooked. Very basic standard meal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Recently had refurbishment. ● Great spoons as per! Prices great, as per. ● Sometimes do feel like the staff are stretched a little thin at times so clearing tables/plates etc can get neglected. ● Not many smiles, banter. ● Actual service doesn't necessarily suffer and they're definitely doing their best!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Always food and drink always available at the picture house, this is the kind of place where there is no pool table, juke box or the kind of a normal kind of pub. Sit and enjoy a drink with food if you wish with many kinds of drinks and a full menu of food for you to choose from. Prices are at today’s standards especially with the way that everything is getting up there in price. As usual with Wetherspoons, service and food is pretty and can’t really complain. The app is super efficient and easy to use, so much easier than going to the bar to order food & drinks. The only issue we had on this visit was the sliced chillies and coriander was missing from the Katsu Grilled Chicken dish, but as soon as we raised the issue with the staff, they brought a separate dish of each, more than what would’ve been on the dish if it had come on the dish originally. Because the problem was resolved without question, I have given 5 stars and will certainly be visiting Wetherspoons again in future. Only had a pint, but was and the atmosphere was ok. Knew one person and spoke to her. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. Food is good, normal pub food. Absolutely first rate service thank you.
