Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Ok place to go for a good value meal. Reasonably varied selection of staple items, from mixed grills, pasta, stir fries and meat and veg type options. Still good prices but they no longer do the free puddings on certain days. Plenty of parking. Very good indoor bowls centre with its own bar and a restaurant. Played here on Thursday 21st of March 2024. In the over 55s county. A warm welcome. Good food and a great day's bowling. Look forward to playing there again. Had a nice experience there this evening. Food was excellent, service 1st class and prices very reasonable. Also a great pint of Parrish Bitter at the bar. Really quality indoor bowls facilities Restaurant Bar & bowling arena Friendly inclusive users Great venue with a lovely restaurant and plenty of parking. Lots of extra seating. Can still feel quite crowded when the place is bustling with bowlers. One drawback, not easy for a disabled person to enter the rinks, must get help from other people to be lowered onto the green or helped off the green. Takes away a bit of your independence. Otherwise, great facility! Great Sunday lunch takeaway Excellent set up with plenty of parking. Very clean and tidy, helpful friendly staff. Great bowling venue. Amazing food as always. Perfect Sunday lunch. Best in Leicestershire and maybe the UK!! Fab gravy and friendly, fun staff!! Large car park, near town centre. Great restaurant and well stocked bar. Came for a short mat competition plenty of seating. Excellent place for a nice meal, get what you pay for here, it's cheap but food is always nice, service to the table is great and they are really nice and friendly people who are attentive and helpful, highly recommend. Great place and very friendly people You will be amazed... 100 times better than i expected. A warm welcome and a great atmosphere await you. As soon as you step into the building, your eye is drawn to these massive class doors and the lights beyond. It's huge inside. The bar restaurant has some cosy places to sit and enjoy a discounted priced beverage. Other various areas, including the spectators area, are very comfy. I almost got addicted to the latte. Believe it or not, it's machine coffee, but it's absolutely gorgeous. Just go and have a look. We visited the bowls club for Sunday lunch. We were a family of 6 adults. 1 of the party has intestinal failure and so cannot eat a meal. The most she can manage is a couple of mouthfuls of food. We asked if we could pay for a one slice of meat so she felt involved. The manager point blank said no. He said it’s irrelevant and would have to pay the £12 for one slice of meat. So whilst 5 adults sat eating my wife had to sit there and watch. Sure we could’ve paid £12 for one slice of very thinly cut meat but that doesn’t seem fair. Fortunately we do not have this same problem at other eating establishments and it makes them stand out from the minority. As you can imagine living with this condition is exhausting and it’s nice to be able to go out occasionally without issue. Aside from that if they could have gotten away with slicing the meat with a razor blade for the rest of party, they would have!!
