Always get decent food, it's cheep enough, decent portions, never had a problem with the place really except for the time they forgot our chips, we phoned them and they brought us a fresh portion down straight away and threw in 2 free cans of pop for the inconvenience Worst takeaway ever and over priced. Came in and ordered £40 of food after a long drive before heading to the holiday cottage. We was missing for the chicken meal. We had ordered a separate portion of which were over cooked and then fairly cold. The chicken was dry. The was ok but not worth £18. Staff were quite rude too. Save your money and go else where. The young lad was rude and obnoxious, i ordered a burger and twice with a small pizza.. Came in at £37 this place is a complete rip-off not to mention extremely bad food according to the reviews. The young lad would not put cheese on our he wanted me to buy separate to put cheese on. I've never heard anything like this the service is just awful... Please avoid this place let's get it off the main high Street ready for someone that can do their job. Never again CK's has never been the same since Elvis left. We ordered two and a flat garlic bread(this was burnt). My wife rang them to complain to be told it was well done. They sent another and asked for the burnt one. Unfortunately, our son was hungry and had eaten four pieces. The delivery replacement chap asked for four pieces of the new garlic bread to be returned. My asked what he was going to do with it. He said," I do something!" My wife informed him that we wouldn't be ordering again. He replied, "DON'T ORDER AGAIN!" The last order a few weeks ago came an hour early. When they redelivered at the right time, I am 90% certain that they had reheated the earlier delivery... Elvis knew about customer relations. That was the second time we had been let down. Previously, you delivered an order 1 hour too early. When you returned at the right time, I'm 90% positive that you had just reheated the earlier order. The standards of the food and service are nowhere near as good as they were under Elvis' time at CKs. Went yesterday Tuesday 10 September 2024 around 5.30pm. Was served by a young lad who was really professional and very helpful. We had a meat feast calzone and a bbq chicken 12” pizza, both were delicious. The lad who served us even made sure he put the right amount of sauce on my calzone. It was so refreshing to be served by someone who was really genuinely interested in his job. He’s an absolute credit to the business. The food is amazing , staff friendly, prices all good. Perfect little takeaway for delicious kebap and pizza. Worst food, and so expansive. Please don’t waste money here.
