Nice little tour. The staff was and gave us an introduction beforehand. Afterwards, we got a shuttle to the starting point. In July, the river was quite slow and shallow. Therefore boring for some, relaxing and not terrifying for the other. Our skipper told many interesting stories. After some surprise and swimming visits, we headed back with a shuttle ride and got some delicious lunch. Would recommend! This campsite is run by a lovely family who also live there, which makes the feel very warm and welcoming. They were super friendly and helpful, even lending us cooking items we didn’t have. A really nice bonus is that camping is free if you do their trip. The setting is beautiful, with plenty of plum trees where you can pick and enjoy as much as you want. The views are stunning, and the family makes you feel at home right away. A place with people, highly recommend to anyone visiting the area! The was amazing. It was a 2 hr long and the river was mesmerizing. We had two stops in between which were to take a dip and swim in the river. Highy recommended Really wonderful tour. Not too rough due to the time of year. The tour operators were wonderful and very very accommodating to all our needs. The food was and the guides too! I highly recommend booking a tour if you ever are in the area. The itself was excellent and fun, however we were told to arrive for 11am which we did, and the did not start until 12 which meant we had wasted an hour of our morning. We got back after the to the base for lunch at 2pm, and by 3pm the lunch still had not arrived so we left without it. We were told it was a 2.5 hour - we were there for 4 in total and did not receive the lunch we had paid for. So but really disappointing level of organisation. CAMPING. In addition to the offer on the Tara River, there is also the option of accommodation at the camp. Cool people, camping on a meadow, or rather a garden, with some domestic animals nearby - but that didn't bother us. Toilet and shower are fine. We were there alone. Nice view of the bridge over the Tara River. Amazing experience! The staff was very nice and helpful. We had a time. During our trip we had 2 stops - 1 for photos near the waterfall and 1 for jumping from the small cliff. Staff gave us everything we needed. Also, lunch after the trip was delicious (with a beautiful view)! Price for everything was a deal. 10/10 experience! I recommend it to everyone staying there day rafting! Well organised and super friendly team/guides, we had the opportunity to visit a waterfall, swim and even jump in from cliffs into the water which made for a fun experience! We were able to camp at their lovely camp site for a reduced price when you book the which we would also recommend.
