If u want homemade cuisine you definitely have to go there. Lovely small authentic roadside “taverna” one lady show, serving aaaamazing home made dishes, just a few of them, made and baked on the old traditional stove. Buckwheat warm bread with traditional kajmak spread, and some beef or pork prosciutto, local garden grown tomatoes, or stew for main dish. Really traditional and simple. Great home made coffee. Big recommendation!! Very friendly lady owner, doing all by herself. The wait can be long if the place is crowded and the lady speaks very little English, so be prepared. The food is delicious, comparable to homemade, especially the pancakes with jam. We came at the evening and some dishes were unavailable due to ingredients shortage, but what was available we enjoyed pretty much. We are so happy to have found that place and skipped all the tourist places before! If you are around, make sure to get your food here, this place is so lovely. The owner, who seems to be running it on her own was so welcoming and nice, we felt at home from the first moment on. Don’t expect a fancy restaurant and bridge view, it is basic but the traditional food she cooks on her little wood fueled stove is simply amazing.
