We had the Sunday roast and it was out of this world. Super tasty, with bowls of veg and mash brought out separately for you to add as much or as little as you wanted to your plate. Massive portion and the turkey was delicious. The staff were all too. Thank you for a meal pub, very very busy, if you want a table inside definitely book, we went today at 5 and managed to get the last table which was unfortunately in the way it seemed as it was near the bar, which was constantly busy. Staff were busy but always polite and smiley. Food was and great portions, I had chicken burger and the wife had a chicken melt, with caramel cheesecake to finish. Would book a better table but would go back We joined celebrations of a friend's completion of a 200 mile coastal walk here. Food portions were huge and the food was very tasty. The pub has a bar area. On the right day the beer garden would be a place to watch the sun set. friendly staff, food excellent value for money, huge portions and freshly cooked. Highly recommended by quite a few people and was not disappointed - had scampi and chips, minted lamb steak and both too full for a desert - dog friendly in the bar area Amazing Sunday lunch. Huge portions and tender meat. The vegetables on their own were huge and the gravy jug the biggest I’ve ever seen (and we are huge gravy fans). The cheesy leeks were immense. We’re down here on holiday and only have one Sunday here - this is one not to miss if you’re in the area. Remember to book as it gets busy! Decided to try the new inn Amroth tonight for a meal wow what fantastic food, served really hot & so tasty. Staff very friendly & a atmosphere. Me & my husband had sirloin steak & home made chips very generous portions will definitely be back My partner, my daughter, and I visited this pub for a meal. The staff were courteous and helpful. However, the food quality was severely disappointing. After ordering a mixed grill, the waitress informed us that the pork chops were unavailable and had been replaced with belly pork. The Lamb steak was also replaced with a dry lamb chop. The belly pork appeared unappetizing and was inedible. It looked like something you would feed to a dog. The lamb and chicken were excessively dry, and the peppercorn sauce had a thick, gloopy consistency. I ordered the lasagna, which was devoid of tomato sauce and meat. Instead, it consisted solely of pasta sheets and cheese sauce, resulting in a bland flavour. My daughter had the homemade chicken curry, this was tasty! The food was pricey, and we left feeling very disappointed. Excellent all round, they even supply you with a free foil container and lid for you to take any leftovers home. We all loved it including my 3 grandsons aged 16, 13 and 6. Fantastic, would recommend to everybody but you need to book.
