We spent a wonderful rainy day here on holiday. It truly is an place. So much to do for everyone. were amazing. All the children's areas clean and fun. The indoor fair was incredible and so well thought out. Staff were lovely and food arrived super fast and was delicious. Just a perfect day. We arrived at 10:10 and we're leaving as they turned the lights out at 16:30 and we didn't get round it all. Good thing is, you can return within 7 days for free... fantastic value! We were a mixed group from 8 yrs to 52yrs and there was something for everyone to do. The staff were from the gate staff, cleaners, animal handlers, shops and ride staff; we never once encountered a grumpy or rude person. They were all super nice and always helpful. There is an outdoor play area, outside and then the indoor area. More funfair and vintage games than I've ever seen. The entry price does not include the but the £15 all you can ride wristband is well worth it. We will 100% be returning, perhaps in one of their accommodations on site. Best day out in Wales we had this holiday!! Huge! We were very surprised at the scale of Folly Farm. We visited specifically to see the giraffes but enjoyed a long morning exploring and seeing the other in their large, well designed enclosures. You can see much investment and top class maintenance here. It is a big site, apart from the zoo there are farm animals, a fairground and plenty of indoor spaces if the weather is iffy. A wonderful place for families and anyone else for that matter. The site has good paths for pushchairs, buggies, mobility scooters and wheelchairs. Everywhere is accessible and there are plenty of toilets. You can even revisit for free within a week, just validate your ticket as you leave. We charged our electric car whilst in the park, 12 Pod points available at a reasonable 55p kWh. They are at the far end of the car though so drop off passengers first. An excellent variety of animals, with some coming remarkably close—almost too close at times, making for an exciting and immersive experience. The penguins and giraffes do have a distinct smell, but that’s all part of the authentic wildlife encounter. The zoo is well-maintained, and there’s plenty to see and do for visitors of all ages. While the ticket price is on the higher side, the offers value for money, with engaging exhibits, interactive feeding opportunities, and knowledgeable staff providing interesting insights. If you're in the area, I’d highly recommend a visit! TLDR- plan for 2 days and check your tickets T and C's. Good theming and plenty of playgrounds. We were two families with 3 children and 4 adults. Saw an offer online (this will come back to being important) to get in cheaper so went during half term 2025. We got there for just before 10am when it opened. Car and entry staff are super helpful. They advertised everywhere about fair ground unlimited wristband (yea after entry you pay for some things) but we decided that we would just go around the first and decide if the offer was worth it. (£50 for of 4 or £15 each). There are 21 rides, but as out children where not over 1m this was restricted to 8 children alone and 12 with an accompanying adult. Overall, the theming was all way around. Each area had high quality themes (pirate to farmyard etc). The zoo was better than we expected, with a range of and large enclosures. Rare to see lions giraffes and a rhino in South Wales. The number and quality of free playgrounds and activities was amazing. There was a free tractor (land train) ride and the barn had small furry friends that can be handled when staff are around The food was nothing to shout about but not too expensive for what you get. (Think £9 burger meal). We had 2 issues, one that affects the rating, one specific to our entry. We got a discount on entry by buying a "corporate" ticket online therefore where not allowed to get the free second day (you need to get your entry ticket verified for this before you leave). If you pay the full price of £28 for all ages the par becomes expensive, especially considering most of the bigger cost £1, £2 or £3 (bought through a token system). For £28 (excluding online discount) this is expensive for the park. If you get a second day, then this becomes reasonable, so plan for it, and there is enough for 2 days. So why 4 stars? The price. I am not taking the corporate ticket thing into account, as it would be 3 stars. They do fairly say T and C's on Folly Farm website, just not on the website we bought the tickets from. I don't want to go somewhere and pay nearly thirty quid to then pay another fifteen to do the big rides. Lovely day out for sure and with staying at the holiday it was included in our price so even better. So much to see and do, all very well laid out, clean tidy and all children play equipment seemed well looked after and safe for us. The seemed happy and loved. Only down side I do think it is an expensive day out even with this included in our holiday, however I would still pay again for the fair ground when we go again. Such a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Having just arrived in Pembroke and driving towards Swansea, I spotted the sign on a roundabout and thought 'why not!' So my mum and I decided to take a detour and had such a wonderful ☺️ Beautifully maintained and so well laid out. Around every turn was another gorgeous animal or attraction. The gift shop and food options were also a lovely treat and reasonably priced We brought our two kids to for the 2nd and it did not disappoint you could easily spend a whole day here. We visited before when the kids were very small and they couldn't remember it so we decided to bring them back this year to visit. Fantastic zoo, playgrounds, old fashioned fairground and much more. Kids loves every minute of their visit. Highly recommended a must when visiting South Wales. Good end to the week away in Tenby. Spent a day in folly farm. Nice and quiet , but still lots of visitors, not crowded though. We could access everything without a delay, as it's not a season yet. Seen animals, my daughter enjoyed rides, some kids going crazy so need to pay attention, other than that, was good, limited food also at this of the year, only one place to serve food, but was good no fairness. Including in the gift shop. I was very impressed that they have kept the prices so low and affordable here. If your disabled your able to take a carer in free as long as you can prove your identity, which is and no signs of ableism, such as asking what your disability is. Was really impressed that you get a discount if you take your own refillable cup and, there are water fountains dotted around to refill cups. Improvements, maybe extra discounts for lower income families/single parents on entrance and shops including gift shops, i thinks this would attract more tourism. Also, more maps dotted around. We noticed we really had to look for these and it would help if when you are looking at one, if tje map states the "you are here". But, as a day outing today after not being there in years. I was very impressed. Although I definitely think the lodges are very overpriced as we did check this. But, well worth the visit. We visited with my parents and my one year old daughter and we all really enjoyed it. You could hire a mobility scooter which was fantastic for my Dad who struggles to walk far (think it was £20 with refundable £30 deposit?). Also you could hire single/ double buggies if you needed. Everywhere is really accessible for wheelchairs/ buggies and there is soo much to see. You can get your ticket validated to again within 7 days, which we would have done had the weather not been so shocking the week we were away. Loads of and so many play areas for children of all ages!! Even the cafe for lunch exceeded our expectations, thought it would be a bit basic but we all really enjoyed the food and the kids grazing platter was a array of ‘picky bits’ for our daughter. Just got back from an absolutely day out at Folly Farm Adventure and Zoo in Pembrokeshire, Wales. My wife, son and I have visited many farms over the years, but this one is on another level! At first, we thought the admission price was a little steep, but once we arrived (around 10am) we realised just how much there is to see and do — we were genuinely pushed for trying to fit it all in! From the petting barn, where you can get hands-on with friendly farm animals, to the zoo area where we got up close to the lionesses, every part of the day was unforgettable. My son was over the moon – it was the first he’d seen lions this close (his favourite animal!) and it made the whole even more special. All of the looked really well cared for, and the enclosures were clean, spacious and beautifully maintained. You can tell how much effort goes into ensuring both the and visitors have the best possible experience. After exploring the zoo, we discovered the indoor fairground and soft play area — both were incredible! The fairground had all the classic rides, from dodgems and waltzers to carousels and tons more, bringing back such nostalgic memories of my own childhood. The play zones are thoughtfully split by age, so there’s something for every child. Seeing my son’s face light up was priceless. By the end of the day, we agreed the admission was absolutely worth it. If we lived closer, we’d 100% get the annual pass so we could again and try one of the animal days next time. If you’re looking for things to do in Wales or a family-friendly day out near Tenby or Pembrokeshire, I can’t recommend Folly Farm highly enough. (visited back in February but forgot to review) Folly farm is probably my favourite zoo. I've been visiting all throughout my childhood and now I'm an adult and It's never disappointed me once. Being able to get so close to the is amazing! Especially the giraffes which are a personal favourite of mine at folly farm ❤️. The amusements are too. There are other fun activities, including a vintage fun fair, which includes fun traditional games such as Hook a Duck and Tin Can Ally. include a carousel, dodgems, Waltzers (one for younger age and older), and more. All of which are enjoyable for all ages. You can either go on the by purchasing a wristband that enables you to go on all all day but excludes the games such as hook a duck. (Purchase tokens separately - note: pay by card only!) The food is good and ranges in price. Very short wait and friendly staff :) Gift shops have an array of merchandise such as plushies, stationary, and toys at a pretty good price dependent on what you buy. Overall, it was a day out with friends and family, and I would recommend it! We had a wonderful sloth today! Becky was fantastic—so friendly, knowledgeable, and informative about everything.
