With its sweeping golden sands and iconic colorful backdrop, Tenby South is the jewel of the Pembrokeshire coast. Perfect for families, sunbathers, and swimmers, it offers stunning views, clear waters, and easy access to the charming town walls. A truly quintessential and beautiful British seaside experience. The is wide and sandy, also clean. There are convenient facilities nearby, including cafes and toilets and ice cream vans in summer. The can get busy specially in peak seasons but there’s always plenty of space to enjoy. There are plenty of benches along the beach, perfect for sitting back and and admiring the view from a distance. You can also visit the fort located on the beach. This is one of the nicest beaches in Wales located in a vibrant town. Amazing large sandy beach, it's mostly dog friendly all year around with only a small area they are band on clearly signed, sea was shallow and easy to walk in, sand dunes at the top of the to sit by, A lovely to walk along with your pets or without! is very clean, rules followed and everyone is happy. Definitely recommend looking for heart stones, this has loads of them! Such a nice day out and local amenities are close by. Tenby South is dog friendly, follow the signage, which is the to the right of the lifeguard cabin. (Tenby North is not dog friendly.) And the surrounding town of Tenby is full of beautiful buildings, dog friendly pubs, restaurants and cafes, and there’s a good amount of other shops to poke about inside. It is also, full of steep inclines so be aware. There are plentiful blue signs on buildings telling you of famous people who have lived, holidayed or visited here, such as Spike Milligan, or Henry Tudor. This is a really good place to visit if you are anywhere nearby, plenty to see and do. One slightly eyebrow raising point I’ll leave you with, all the public toilets were 40p entry, payable by card. What a world! It was a perfect summer day at the with my family! My daughter couldn’t stop playing with the sand and getting into the water. I personally collected shells, which is my favorite part of the beach. I’m not sure, but I found a shell with an archaeological print on it. The soothing sound of the waves and the warm sun made it a relaxing day. I could easily spend a couple of days there and explore the town. . Stunning lovely area, cafe close to beach, plenty of parking Ramps down to the beach .The main town and hotels very close by. V busy in the summer months. Day Out at Tenby 🌊☀️ We had a lovely family day out at Tenby south Beach, making the most of the sunshine! One of the best things about this is how close the parking is — a huge help when you're carrying kids, a picnic, umbrellas, and chairs! The itself was beautiful, with clean water, perfect for a swim or paddle. There are toilets and a nearby restaurant, making it super convenient if you want to grab a bite or need facilities during your visit. What’s great is that Tenby North and the harbour are also within walking distance, so you can easily explore more of the area in one visit. Highly recommend it for families looking for a stress-free day!
