Takes both cash & card which was handy for a chippy. The fish supper was huge, had 2 x fish in it with fresh chips too! Impressive straight off. Losing a star for the pizza. Why? It was burnt in some places *as can see* which made it taste like charcoal, other than that small downside, this place was actually alright. First time visiting Sullys since moving to Peebles just had a Fish and Chips and Battered Sausage and Chips from the small menu and both were absolutely excellent..update....have now tried the Pizzas and Garlic bread and both were excellent Doner meat was like a leather belt. Paid £11 for mixed kebab on a nan. Got 2 strands of kebab and chicken looks straight out a packet. The fact they didn't have any cooking on the skewer tells me it probably was. Chicken was actually alright but definitely wasn't a nann bread it was served on, closer to a chapati or a wrap. Just went into the shop. The server was happy chappy and helpful. The other guy came in from behind, I gave him the order. He overcharged me by £2 without any explanation. Just seems dishonest! Moved to the area a couple months ago and this is becoming my favourite takeaway, food is always top notch and everyone behind the counter are such a pleasure to deal with, 100% recommend Portion sizes were appalling for the price of the Haggis supper. Chips were soggy and undercooked. Outstanding chippy always my go to, never let me down, even if there’s a problem their quick to fix it, thanks guys great team great takeaway highly recommended!! The guy in there was lovely but wow, never thought u could butcher a fish and chips that much, fish was wet and batter wasn’t crispy whatsoever, chips were sub par and they were tight with salt and vinegar which baffled me to start with, will definitely not be visiting again not impressed.
