Part of the Offas Dyke path with dramatic cliffs and scee slopes. Moorland at the northern end, and forestry beyond. Beautiful little gem of a tumbling stream, ford, and stepping stones below towering limestone cliff Amazing location. Feels incredible, and great along Offa's dyke and beyond, along and you can look over Llangollen which is lovely. Really scenic walk, and not too tough, depending on the route. A beautiful spot for walking and mountain biking. Much quieter than the areas in the panorama closer to Llangollen. Great trail road and adventure place What an epic spot. Parking is available on the side of the single track but there are lots of inconsiderate parkers - don't be one of them! Lovely heath to across where you can make the as long as you like. There's a tiny patch of wood to explore too. Great around here and lots of trails to follow A lovely, natural and picturesque landscape. Some nice footpaths to wander along and woods to explore. Challenging in places and not for the feint hearted. No wheelchair access A really good day out and about ended up at world's end managed to find a way back to the hotel I've lived in near by Wrexham for over 20 years and never once went to this place until now. Just wow, the are incredible and well worth a walk. Driving from Minera, Wrexham towards Llangollen, it has to be one of the most incredible local finds I've seen. Whether driving it or walking it, take a camera, you will not be disappointed. Nice to hill tracks and excellent view. Steep walking, with epic scenery and quality climbing. This one's for bikers. If your at the Ponderosa Cafe and fancy nice run to Worlds End (about 17 mins). Go down Horseshoe pass, turn very sharp left more like a 'U' at Fford pentredwr (blink and you'll go straight past)... short distance and turn right dropping down the hill that now runs adjacent to Eglwyseg River or go down minor road behind the Ponderosa and take a left. Both lovely views. Very minor road hence great on a bike. You can go by car but meet oncoming and you've bit of reversing to do. Nice run just stay on it and eventually you will reach where the river flows over the road. You're there! Don't panic only bout half inch deep (see pic) Don't know why they call it worlds end, I didn't feel any oncoming impending doom :) Yes, no doubt wonderful hiking/walks and lovely but for me it was the ride. Keep going and again more great towards Minera and to Chester for me. Well worth doing it the other way around next time to the cafe and onward to Festiniog maybe?? After seeing a sign post to go along the road to worlds end, we found out that there was no parking anywhere to go a see this area. It seems you have to to it from some distance. The drive was fun - if you like small roads. So we just drove past it instead. It's a beautiful in any weather.. Accessible to most with easy access to. Llandegla Forest and Llangollen / Dinas Bran Great local climb for cycling up. Pot holes could do with some attention but that shouldn’t put you off!
