Had a very quick look around, mines near the free carpark... visitor centre shut but could around the mine ruins, lots of signposted walks to various places, including Nant Mill. looked a very interesting area so will be back. Please don't drop your RUBBISH! Let's look after our beautiful 🌏 Nice place to spend time with kids. But it seems that it's not functioning now. You can access walking trails from there. Brilliant. Free parking Free around and Free audio visual exhibition. This was a great couple of hours spent with some interesting history. Definitely worth a stop off A nice little around the old site. Good to see the buildings, but sad to see their condition. Easy to find, but no signal when there (o2) not massive amount of things to do here just around. Plenty of free parking though. Mildly interesting dilapidated industrial site Lovely place for walking and dogs, such a pity the little museum isn't open more often Great place and lots of history Awesome, and some nice countryside around there too The Minera Lead mine at the current time is shown as temporarily closed , I'm not sure as to why because it appears to have been that way for a while , however if you are in the are stop and take a look because you can see a fair bit from the right side if the fence, also right up to the top on the trackway stand head on to the pumphouse and chimney and you can get some great reflection shots from the small lake infront. Nice place to visit, not much to see from the old mining work, but still interesting. Good for a short-to-medium walk. Nice views. Not bad for a quick visit. Good to around. Footpaths around area muddy but that's to be expected given the recent weather. Buildings are behind metal screens due to their condition but you can still take in the history of the place. Good parking right next to the site. Looks like it was an idea to try and do something at some point. Then it seems to have been left for some time. Car park sectioned off, no facilities, parts of the tourist section fenced off, rubbish on the floor, not alot of info to tell you about the history of the area. Big site and visitors centre, very interesting and a nice along the old tramway. Interesting to explore the mine. lots of walks and things to see around the mines. Easy to get to and large carpark A lovely place to go for a Did the Halloween workshop with my great niece yesterday . Staff were friendly and offered refreshments ( Tea-Coffee). We took a after our activities and also visited the museum that was open on the site . Plenty of free parking , dog friendly . Looking forward to the next craft session and other activities offered for free in the future. Diolch 👍 Good place to and visit lead mines. Great walks. Free parking.
