I ordered more for my freezer and a full fillet . I had to Google how to slice the properly . I was amazed at how many I got and a roast into the bargain . This was so tender and succulent. Having seen an ad on Facebook for a Tomahawk and the opportunity to buy one by mail I thought I’d give it a go. It arrived a few days after my by courier packed extremely well in an insulated wrapper with a chilled bag still half frozen keeping the fresh. As there were no cooking instructions enclosed I rang the Malpas shop for advice about cooking method and was advised by very helpful guy. Cooked it tonight for our supper and it was excellent! Highly Recommended. Will only review my purchase, cut nicely into 10 good size steaks, lightly seasoned then grilled on BBQ. Now 9 ate and wow what a tasty steak, juicy with real flavour. I recently saw an online offer from the Malpas Farm Shop for Isle of Man Sirloin steak. It was a large of 10kgs and the price was incredibly cheap which included free delivery. I was a little nervous as I hadn't purchased from them before. I need not have worried. The of the was superb. Tender and full of flavour. Delivery was very quick and communication was marvellous. Everything looks to be of high and expertly butchered. This was a mixed box of beef, pork and lamb joints and every joint was on weight or over weight. I was a little apprehensive to as I know there are some really poor retailers selling on line but everything exceeded my expectations and I saved quite a lot of money compared to supermarket prices too. I am sure I will be ordering again before too long.
