Nice clubhouse overlooking course. Look out out for terrapins in pond on 7th hole!🐢🐢 Really nice course suitable for all levels with a couple of rolling fairways and tucked away Wow, what a course. Very tricky to navigate if you have never played here, really hilly and some absolute stunning holes.greens are quick and so are the fairways, the ball will run for ever. Bar and kitchen staff were friendly and the food was and value for money. Overall a place to come for a challenge, definitely not for the faint hearted. Would recommend. First visit to the course and thoroughly enjoyed playing the Seniors Open there. Nicely set out holes suiting the contours of the ground as well as excellent super fast greens. Food in the clubhouse and a well organised event, will definitely be back My first visit with wirral 100 society,,,, the course was absolutely fantastic,,, were in brilliant condition, quite fast,, society is booking it for next year everyone was impressed,,,, only negative which isn't major but thought there could be more liter bins on the tees but one of the best courses I've played,,, would highly recommend,,,,,, cheers No signage for a large funeral wake I was attending. Had to find reception and ask for directions. I found the overall grey colouring a bit depressing but maybe that's what the members like. Lastly I always feel a bit wary when seeing the cooks working away without hats. Lovely parkland course, sloping fairways and quick greens, well worth a visit. Super course. Some holes and superb. Sadly lost the fairways in the summer with the hot weather but over all really good. Will go back next year Played with our society the Castle What a course staff friendly especially the pro who was very helpful very breakfast proper thick rashers as I won for the first time after 7 1/2 years of trying my new favourite course the biggest drought since 1976 over with the hot conditions the were very well presented and the course stood up well top marks to your greenkeepers/staff we will definitely return at some point in the future thank you all at Wrexham club for your hospitality Best course around Quality Quality Quality. Little practice area with covered bays around 150 yards with a number of target's. Two chippings although firmer than course they were in condition. Putting green was as on the course. Course played off the yellows was a nice challenge not overly long but everything was just right. Tee's were level, Fairways were tidy and undulating which gives you plenty to think about. Green had been recently treated were still PERFECT and had subtle breaks. The lady in the Pro Shop was very helpful and in conversation said we're in for a treat and she wasn't wrong. Clubhouse was very neat and clean. We went in the members bar and we're welcomed in. Overall experience has left me wanting to look at joining in the future. Played in their senior open pairs competition. The course was well presented and some really nice looking holes. Not knowing the course meant we often played a different club or line of play. It put pressure on your game but that was to be expected. Looking back from tees you could see where to play next time. Something we will do. Playing with a partner and off the yellows made it enjoyable as you or your partner could score and keep the card going. After the round it was nice to be served by staff for food and drink before heading home. The course is easily accessible from Chester side. Prior to playing we made use of the short game area, bunkers, nets, pitching chipping area and a small driving range. The quality of this area was fanstatic and I enjoyed half hour on here before teeing off, next time I'll get on here hour before. From the practice ground to the putting green, five minutes and your off. A opening par 5 hole to start and it gets better as you go round. I think index one was the best but the hole before par five was the worst for the eyeline. Still a hole, it was more awkward! That said highly recommend this course to play. course. superb Fantastic course, but tricky hitting the fairways in right place's dew to very dry conditions, green's very very good. Also big thanks to all staff who made me feel very welcome. Jimmy c club everybody is so polite and welcoming. experience people who are and are not so at golf. Very nice course immaculate credit to the green keepers.
