Beautiful views, you can literally see for miles on a nice day ! Its a bit of a trek to get up here, but if you pick the right day the are amazing. If you are driving up, there are penty of free parking spaces at the top, but i should imagine it gets a bit crowded during high season. Again a lovely place to visit. Free parking. Very quiet when I went, but amazing and lovely quiet walks. Definitely a place to come if you're looking for walks / Car park is at the top of the hill accessed from a narrow public road. from the park are magnificent. Areas below the top of the hill were very boggy and require wellington boots to access. Lovely place to go for a on a sunny day. Great into Wales and across the border. Unbelievable walk, some absolutely stunning and so so quiet. We got a really lucky day and the weather was lovely, not to warm, just right. Can't wait to return! Make sure you visit the Cross Guns which is a couple of minutes drive away after you finish for a well earned drink after. Amazing take a coat Great caching spot. So many to around and find. Took a buggy up to the trig point, over the boardwalk but the came to a style, decided it wasn’t worth exploring the country park any further and went down one of the bridle ways which was better in terms of access. Always very quiet and peaceful up here. Nice and a good (great for dogs).Parking available. May not be suitable for people with mobility issues and the single track road up/down can be a bit tricky if you meet a car so think twice if you're a nervous driver! Refreshing walk. Amazing views.
