Small country but very pleasant. Free car park. A very short around a lovely large pond. Not much of a as basically a plaza for local residents. Neglected country with two lakes and a mix of woodland and grass areas. Decent car muddy trails often underwater no signage. Good place to stroll around😊 There’s a for kids.. Beautiful place for a walk. Quiet and filled with nature. This has great views. We can enjoy different scenery depending on the four seasons. There are several walking trails, a children's play area, free parking, and beautiful birds always greet you. This place does not get enough credit. I have planted a couple of geocaches here to encourage folk to the area. Huge parking space with a children's play area. Beautiful feeding the ducks and good for fishing. Would be great to see someone set a little cabin cafe/hut here and toilets. There can be a bit of litter as you go further out and teen-agers congregate toward evening which can be said about most parks tbf. Had an amazing wildlife day today spotting very large fish, daringly, close to the surface and a kingfisher swooped in front of my daughter and I. There were lots of ducks, dragonflies and a huge bird (not a buzzard but similar size, slightly bigger and charcoal in colour) landed for seconds in front of us off the beaten track. It was incredible! Stopped here on way to Wales, nice dog and picnic place. Free large carpark. Great for dog walking and feeding the ducks... available for children and a golf club very near. Lovely place for a and a run, will be 5 stars when the paths and stairs are finished Great walking Spot. The place feels like hidden secret! Plenty of places to explore, large car parks, beautiful lakes and great for dogs. One of my favourite places to my dogs over the years. There is a playground for the children that is fenced off so dogs can't go in. Also there is plenty of space at the further end of the valley for them to run around . It is a favourite place for photographers as there is lots of bird life and wild life. The lakes are a favourite place for the kingfishers and Herons if you happen to see them fishing. The bottom lake is full of carp and bream and the fishermen from the local club are often seen. There is a notice board for the club that can be seen in the side of the lake on the left hand side as one enters the lakeside from the large carpark. There is a Friends of Moss Valley on Facebook where there are plenty of photos of the area. We had a lovely day volunteering with the ranger at Moss Valley Country - was great helping our local community and what lovely surroundings to be doing it in. It's a beautiful and tranquil place to visit and unwind - would recommend a visit 😊 I always visit Moss Valley Country as it is an amazing place to visit and I am also a community volunteer with my next door neighbour for the park. This involves Improving the and making it a clean and litter free place for people to enjoy. I was stung when i leaned on a tree that had blown across a path. It was very painful, and swollen three fingers. Great for all family!
