Costa's outlet at Plas Coch Retail Park, Wrexham offers a bright and spacious experience in walking distance of Sainsbury's, Boots, M&S Food, Pets at Home and other retailers. There are no surprises about choice, and the outlet features an easily navigable drive-thru to make life easy for anyone wrapping up a round of shopping, or for those needing respite from travels along the A483. Your usual Costa Coffee. You know what you are getting We visited this 24/7 location for the first time at 1:45am. We went up to the door but it was locked, but the served us at the drive-thru mirror and we got our drinks. were very nice and made the brilliantly. I would definitely clarify this location is 24/7 Drive-thru only to avoid confusion, as no mention of this on Google Maps or the Costa app. The biggest problem is how out of the way this location is for late night drinks. There’s no advertisement to show it’s 24/7 here and it’s very hidden into the retail park, upon closer look you would think it’s closed until you get right outside and see the banner. Unless this location does more to expose itself as 24/7 to road users, I feel like it will revert to its old hours very soon. Interesting. Very friendly but did not give any napkins with our drinks. The Ruby chocolate was more like pink and tasted like warm strawberry milkshake. Most of the time I visited here, I spent a good 15 to 20 mins queuing. Doesn't seem to be fully staffed. there are polite and friendly. I find they struggle to find time to clear the tables, and some customers are doing it themselves. Not the fault, Costa needs to hire more staff. Lovely not our normal costa as we are visiting area but guy who served us 3 days prior remembered us and what we ordered amazing for such a busy place Nice and friendly staff. Nice location in plas coch area. A good place to sit and talk over a coffee. Bit slow serving long wait in the small queue but lovely food and coffee. Plenty of room inside and out side. Easy parking for everyone including disabled people. Easy access. was really slow seemed to serve the in first. Tables were not cleared toilets were dirty didn't seem to care whether they served you or not tasted so bad and burnt. The young lad looked so miserable and rude. Thought we would give this a try whilst shopping locally. Its a brand new build and a new Costa with a through. We decided to sit in and have coffee. The shop was quiet inside although there was a steady stream of cars through the through. The food and drink was fine, typical Costa as you would expect. I was however quite surprised how messy the place was. Tables had not been cleared or wiped down and the floor looked like it needed a good sweep - see the photos. There were three members of serving. Either one of them needed to find the time to the seating area or more were needed on duty. At one point my wife and I were the only people in the shop so it wasn't busy. There was no 4G reception inside on EE (full outside the building). In fact all I got was "no service" on my phone. I am finding this is typical of most Costas I visit now. It must be something about the way their new buildings are designed. Unlike other branches, there was also no wifi. Quite an important consideration if you want to go in with a laptop and do some work. Overall 5/5 for food and drink but 1/5 for the cleanliness and lack of any connectivity in the building so 3/5 overall. By far the worst costa I have been into. And won't go back. The place felt dirty. No tables were clean, even some chairs had trays on, the was weak, Tea was ok, the were rude, as like I was putting them out placing an order. No niceties at all. No please or thank you. The cake on the edges were dry. I did say something but fell on deaf ears. In the end, after spending £15.00 I left my only having 2 sips out of it, and the cakes were left. Moved our tray off the table, or it would probably still be there the following day. Best thing about this place was opening the door and leaving. Love my weekly visit to Costa 😁 It’s a drive-through so is a bit slow if you order inside but the barista with the short black hair was lovely and they made a great iced latte 😊 Busy fairly new CostA with thorough or dine in options 2 disabled parking bays either end of the building and generally a large car park. Quick always a good choice of food available. Adequate seating. Clean and tidy. Door has an automatic option for disabled. At the moment the are all new and fairly inexperienced causing a queue to form right up to the entrance. The girl taking the orders wasn’t taking names so there was a possibility of the getting mixed up; which happened to me. Couldn’t see any experienced members of to help them out unfortunately. Went in for two hot - it took 25 minutes, complete farce. Wasn't that busy either. Would have been quicker to home and make one yourself, shocking! The were very rude and customer was appalling. As she wouldn’t give her name can only refer to her as the girl with green hair. Would not give the managers name which later we found out to be Blake but no surname. She accused me of using bad language which i did not so await an apology for that. I have been a regular there for years and spend a lot of money there. I won’t be returning. I went to starbucks and their know how to treat customers. Sorry take a good look at who you are employing Costa your are letting you down . I have coming to this Costa every morning for the past year and I can't fault the who are very friendly and provide top rate service, even having my drink order ready before I've barely stepped through the door which is very kind and will go out of their way for you. The only criticism I have is they sometimes appear short staffed and they are having to multitask taking thru orders as well as in house, which is the branch management's responsibility to improve, no them. They all appear to work very hard and must be due a pay rise! Ordered on the app. Ready for me to collect within 5 minutes. Hog roast toastie was amazing 👏 didnt realise there was also an option to have your order brought to your car so will do that next time! :) Ice machine wasn't working, dirty tables, stacks of cups, plates and trays not collected and slow, SLOW service. working hard but not enough of them. Plus a nightmare to get out of the car park.
