Was alittle confused when trying to find a services and stumbled upon this Starbucks. Only to assume this was the services that was sign posted, as we couldnt see anything else that resembles a services? It was a really nice and clean Starbucks and the were so lovely and very helpful. However, the hot chocolate itself was not that great for me. I usually prefer a hot chocolate from Starbucks but I don't go to them regularly enough. I feel its changed slightly? Regardless of this. Its a nice pit stop with a few other useful places around the area. Standard Starbucks with a decent sized seating area and some outdoor seating too. It's a little close to the dual carriageway to warrent outdoor seating to be honest. With its proximity to a travel lodge and a petrol station it really should have a drive through which unfortunately it does not. Update:- Having visited many Starbucks in this area (and further afield) I rate this one very highly. Starbucks has gone down hill recently with prices increasing and service levels decreasing. The premises are regularly dirty with the neglecting even collecting mugs let alone ever deep cleaning. This one however is always clean and the are decent which again, is rarely the case in Starbucks since they seem to be reducing wages and therefore attracting only who care little about the brands reputation. Good job to the employees of this location! are lovely here Run of the mill ☕️ shop Unfortunately my partner ordered a wrap and she found a human hair in it, the were good and gave her something else and a voucher for a free next time we visit. It is unlikely that we will use this service again. Bit pricey but good service and nice seating area! Regular visitor to this Starbucks. are lovely and welcoming. Great choice of and food, as you would expect at Starbucks. Always clean and tidy. Comfy seating, great for an hour or so to sit and read or do some work. Lots of parking and next door is a Subway, Travelodge and garage so you can top up on fuel for you and the car. Next to the A483 so easy access to one of the main trunk roads into Wales 🏴. Visited this place today. The young lad serving his name was Owain was brilliant. Poor lad was on his own with a que and no other to be seen. He was helpful and friendly dispite being on his own. Many businesses could benefit with someone like Owain. Came in here at 12:20 on the 8th October. Even though when I previously came in roughly a year ago I was informed by the team that dogs were allowed in. This time when I took him one member of particularly but all of them appeared to gang up on me making me feel extremely unwelcome. Informing me that I should not have brought him in and made me out to be lying. I said that if I hadn't been told last time that it was ok then I wouldn't have done it. Appalling behaviour makes me out to be a liar. NEED TO WORK ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Shocking! There was a real attitude on his staff. If you're not happy working there then leave. I will never come here again and will be making a complaint to the complaints department Salted maple latte, nom nom. I had a heavy school morning with my 2 children, so asked for an extra 3 shots in it, total of 5. The housework got done faster than superman's outfit change 😅 Not too busy or noisy so I sometimes visit here with my laptop. Nice to try different seasonal drinks. Only the issue is the price! There was this lovely cheerful friendly lady working there. Hope she's serving next time too. Hopeful to shelter from the weather whilst my car had an MOT but the doors were locked at 09:00 on a Tuesday - incorrect opening hours. Not a town centre cafe either, but off a roundabout of main roads, a services provider essentially. Once opened and let inside, the interior was freshly cleaned and were polite. Total to pay = £8.20 for a small hot chocolate (which was more water than anything else) and a sweet treat to take away. No option to stay in as no dogs allowed, of which I had two small ones. Seriously, Starbucks? If you're going to charge the earth for something worse than what I can make myself at home, then at least update your standards to allow all customers to sit in if they wish to!!! You've been established for over 50 years and claim to be one of the most premium suppliers in existence. Poor quality and whilst I'm not usually one to leave a negative review, I felt this one was absolutely necessary as yet again I'm failing to believe in the Starbucks mission of 'inspiring and nurturing the human spirit', whilst I drink my watery hot chocolate inside a car garage. If you have sensory issues you would absolutely hate it. Lots of clattering and banging and dragging chairs, as well as building is very echoing so can hear everyone's conversations. I did not enjoy all the noise to be honest. friendly and quick though. Buns were stale. Far too much echo inside, people almost shouting to be heard, decor basic. Everything was overpriced. Tea was awful The only reason why I am giving 2 stars, its because the men toilet never has toilet paper and it’s always very dirty and disgusting. Definitely needs some extra care. Staff and service here is great! 👍🏼 Expensive Not that anyone reads reviews for places like Starbucks before they visit, but just in case I can help out at least one person... I've also received the £50 car park fine. No signs, that I could see, either in the car park or inside, and no mention at all by the Starbucks staff. Horizon - robbing *&^%@ A very expensive cup of coffee!! Avoid. Rude and very slow service. We were shouted to in a rude manner that dogs aren't allowed instead of it being explained to us politely. Well, I didn't see the machine to enter your car number plate and 6 weeks later was stung with a £51 fine. I paid in cash but I've learnt my lesson. Unless you are very very careful I would advise your to go to somewhere less Draconian. A horrible experience. Popped in for a quiet with a friend. Asked to try the eggnog latte, (never tried before) I asked for it with oat milk. Server said it can’t be made with out milk, just dairy, I said that’s fine I’d like to try it. She then went to her colleague and told him and both were laughing at me. I heard her say “I’m giggling but she asked for oat” I’m sorry I made a mistake, but it’s not very nice to be laughed at by the people serving you. It’s like bullying. your beautiful hostess Isaac greeted us with a fantastic smile and terrific drinks, it was all a lovely experience until somebody was murdered right next to my table.
