We loved the aquaduct tour with Jake last Saturday. We were lucky with the weather and had a capable group so we got to see quite some bit of the canal. It was nice that Jake also told us a little bit about the history, we love fun facts. Would recommend booking the tour! Llangollen may be famous for the lovely little shops, the boat or the stream rail, but the one thing you don’t want to miss out on is TNR and their huge varsities of activities. In our little party of 3, the air rifle was the action of choice, and the half an hour slot we booked was way too short! We had fun, we had challenge, we had healthy competition and we had plenty of targets to choose from, not to mention our guide Kieran who was brilliant, friendly and super helpful. Go to TNR and make sure you book longer than just 30 minutes and more than one activity!! We will be back - and that’s a promise!! We were Histed by Elinor who was Awesome, safe and thorough throughout the 2hr evening, we had a go at Axe Throwing, Archery, and finished on the Air Rifle Range. Soo much fun and very reasonably priced even without the optional homemade Pizzas 🍕 WILL be back soon! Thanks Elinor and TNR! This was our second visit to TNR for activities. This was Gorge Walking! So and beautiful even in the rain! Kieran was a instructor (with Jake as well) and facilitated us having such a great while challenging us but made us feel safe! Yesterday my teenage son and I drove over 2hrs to Llangollen canal to meet Ben H from TNR outdoors who took us on a small group paddle across the aqueduct and along the canal. We had such a great time, the view was amazing from the top. We also had an opportunity to get out and see the aqueduct from below, by walking down the path to it. We returned to the canoes. We had some waiting time, as the boats were passing us. We also had some where Ben was providing us with information, facts and figures about the aqueduct and all its history which was fun to learn! Thank you so much. A must go place and experience! We had a great trip with Ant as our guide. Patient and funny teaching and experienced guidance when there was narrow boat coming. Jake was a great instructor who made sure we were all comfortable and gave us information about the history Had such a fun morning doing axe throwing, rifle shooting and archery for a hen do. Plenty of to try each activity and improve. All the hens and I had a and it was the perfect way to start off a fantastic day (and to exorcise the inner demons!). Jake and Elinor were and just let us play as much as possible without wasting on lengthy explanations, but still keeping us feeling safe. They should get a raise, although Jake could do with a bit more practice with the axe first 🤣🤣.
