This private park is a picture perfect place containing a forest, landscaped gardens, rice fields and beautifully designed restaurant. If you love bamboo, then you'll love the varieties of on show and the landscaped walkways. There is a Peacock island. Sadly, most were in a cage, although several were roaming free. The only negatives are the steep entry price and some of the buildings and have started to fall into disuse. There was supposed to be a rabbit island, but it was empty. There's no question that this is a very photogenic spot though. My 2nd time here and im amazed how the gave a fresh breeze of air amidst the hot day. Their staff are well trained and courteous. I just hope we can still order ala carte lunch during weekends where they only have buffet. Not all people are fond of buffet though. Food was great. I gave it 5/5 If you are looking for something to reconnect you to nature and just had a slow peaceful day then you must visit this place. We enjoyed the place and plus points for the restaurant’s ambience and foods. You will pay 250.00 for entrance with a consumable 75.00 pesos in the restaurant which is fair enough . The place is nice and relaxing. The architecture is really great. The food menu are not that good tho. Service is and consistent. For entrance fee: •₱150 for Bohol locals (just present an ID bearing a Bohol address) •₱250 for non-locals The fee is consumable worth at least ₱75 for food at Painitan. It is definitely a good experience being here minus the heat—it was very hot that day. The place is beautiful as well, showcasing different species. There are animals as well like peacocks and rabbits although the other place where they said there are animals has none. We didn't see them or don't know if they exist. They have a buffet as well for those who want to dine in. It's overall a good experience. It was an unplanned trip here but it was worth it! Although it was raining when we got here, the place was still picturesque. We had fun taking photos despite the rain. The food was and the staff were so friendly. I will come back here and hoping it will be sunny, puhon. Such a choice for a gala! The whole place gives off major forest vibes🍃Who knew bamboos could look so fancy? It’s super spacious, with lots of nice spots for sightseeing and photos. Plus, the hundred and fifty entrance fee is consumable, so it’s definitely worth it. Oh, and don’t skip the ice cream. It’s seriously so good! Full disclosure entrance fee 250php per person and the 50pesos is consumable at the restaurant. The place was nice, they had animals around like peacock, bear cat, rabbits, parrots, chickens, fishes. theme park was really nice for photos. There were areas for children to play but not much. In the restaurant there was a swing for children which was good to keep kids busy while waiting for the food. I gave 4 stars only just because I think 250pesos entrance fee was a bit expensive wkth extras like feeds for the fishes. Food we ordered was and I find it in a bigger serving particularly the fried/breaded vegies (assortment of okra, eggplant, and onion). The batter was so crispy and the vinegar dip was well spiced. Also the shoot salad was so yummy. Tastes like atchara to me but really deli. Their fried tuna disappointed me. Like seriously very tiny 3pcs tuna. Presentation is great. Staffs are very nice and friendly. It is far from the city yet it is the place where you can relax and learn different bamboo. Their food is also tasty especially the native chicken. The rabbits are friendly. Gotta return soon.
