Resto/Buffet - food was ok but good enough after a tiring morning of travel and tours. Place is al fresco dining, so expect flies. Not enough e-fans on a scorching day. They were also selling expensive bottled water so better bring your tumbler instead! Place - some parts are full of blossoming flowers which is beautiful. Some parts just look so old, dusty, full of cob webs, and unkept. I don't know their priorities on maintenance. People are not in uniform except for the musicians so it doesn't feel like an organized place. A kid took our photos at the butterfly statue and we had no choice but to give him a tip because he seems to be highly expecting after only 3 shots. Music - there's a group that plays traditional instruments! Tarsiers - there were only 4 tarsiers in a very small area with personnel who oversees them. Please use your camera zoom instead of handing over your phone for them to take very close pictures which disturbs the marsupials! Some tourists are very unbothered or may not have done their research, but I believe the personnel should've been strict on reminding others to keep quiet and observe the tarsiers peacefully. Pythons - we were able to hold one of the albino pythons for 20 pesos (optional amount). The personnel also took us a video. Sugar gliders - cute and allowed to held, however, you might be able to hold them for only a minute or 2 since part of the videoshoot by the handler is calling the gliders and immediately putting them back to their small pouches. Butterfly garden - it's a small enclosed area and it feels like there than 20 butter My first time visiting this place and I was so in love with the place. They have a wide parking lot available. At the entrance you need to pay a certain fee for your tickets for the tarsier, snake, sugar glider and butterfly viewing experience. A souvenir shop is the first thing that you will pass by going inside. Next to it will be those pretty young ladies that will welcome you with their country music playing with their bamboo instruments. A donation box is available if you want to hand out some amount for their performance. You need to surrender each ticket for each designated viewing area so they can have it stamped. At the corner near the entrance is a restaurant that serves meals. You can also buy bottled water inside. The first attractions are the tarsier. So they have 4 available, 2 are boys and 2 are girls with respective names. I was so amazed seeing them, they are so cute and tiny. The sad thing is that you are not allowed to hold and pet them anymore unlike before according to our guide. Next stop will be the phyton viewing, they have 3 available. One girl and one boy, I forgot to ask about the first one we saw. One of them is 9 years old and it's a girl. The other one was 11 years old. After the phyton would be for the rabbit viewing that has several sizes and colors trapped on small cages. Then we headed off to the sugar glider where I enjoyed watching too. It was a great holding it in my palm and seeing it jump to its trainer. The last portion would be for the butterfly sanctuary with different sizes and colors too. Going out you would see a food stall available near the exit gate. Horseback riding is also available. I had such a great time at Bohol Enchanted in Bilar! As an animal lover, I truly enjoyed the entire experience, but my favorite part was definitely the butterfly garden. It was peaceful, colorful, and felt almost magical seeing so many butterflies up close. The staff were incredibly entertaining and accommodating. They made the tour fun, informative, and engaging from start to finish. You can really tell they enjoy what they do, and that energy makes a big difference in the overall experience. If you’re in Bohol and looking for a place that’s family-friendly, educational, and full of charm, Bohol Enchanted is definitely worth the visit! Bohol Enchanted was a fun stop with a variety of animals to see, but the highlight for me was definitely the sugar glider encounter. It was such a unique experience—getting up close with this adorable little creature was both exciting and unforgettable. A great place for animal lovers looking for something a bit different! There's nothing much interesting in there but the was fun get to hold the snakes and the sugar glider which i got concerned a little because it was shivering, i told the staff about it but he ignored me. ANIMAL CRUELTY!! We visited this place as part of a tour that our hotel organized, but didn’t expect such cruelty. It is heart breaking seeing the animals in such condition and unconscious asians laughing and holding albino pythons and nocturnal animals in their hands. It is a shame that the Philippine Government does not intervene. Do not support this!! The best part for me was the food. It was really the best! The buffet setup was affordable, and I ended up eating more than I expected—even though I’m not much of an eater. I also liked the atmosphere of the place. Too bad I couldn’t explore more since we had to leave early for another event. But if I’m back in Bohol, I’ll definitely visit again, check out the other areas, and eat again for sure. Only visited here as it was part of our tour and I will never get over the things I saw. If it was possible to leave a 0 star review I would. The fact that they call themselves an animal “sanctuary” is beyond me. All animals either completely unable to move because they are chained up or have minimal space to do so. Complete and utter animal cruelty.
