Absolutely faultless to be honest. The were amazing, the food was beautiful, (so much so, we came back after check out to have lunch 😉). In a review it's always to highlight the and the bad but there simply wasn't anything bad at all. We're pretty well travelled, getting old and easily pushed into grumpyness, if there is a problem we'll find it but this place has everything covered. Decor immaculately clean, bedding beautiful, I could go on but you get the idea. As I said, faultless. It’s always a joy for our bands to perform at Peterstone Court. The venue is full of character and charm, set against the most stunning backdrop, the perfect setting for an unforgettable celebration. The team are always so welcoming and professional, creating a relaxed yet perfectly organised atmosphere every time. The was comfortable and spacious. The were attentive and warm. The breakfast was delicious and generous. The location is very picturesque with views to the mountains. Just got back from a wonderful 3-night stay here while we explored the Brecon Beacons. Our was the "Stable" but hosted in the main house - a lovely large that would be considered a Suite in other hotels. Bathroom was lovely with a large bath by the window looking out the front of the house. The other rooms with the mountain views would have been superb from the top-floor. This is definitely a restaurant with rooms and the food did not disappoint with great local ingredients, large portions and a very wine list. Breakfast was divine and the service spot on - Lorna and Leo were so attentive and swift. The terrace was a great place to sit in the sun admiring the view and relaxing after a day exploring this area. Yes the house is shabby-chic but we were wanting for nothing and we loved the relaxed style and great service. We will be back! Diolch yn fawr :-) Absolutely shocking afternoon tea. Came with a gluten free allergy, was a bit of conflict trying to find out what was what. We proceed to eat, and had to remind the on several occasions what we were missing our drinks. The was very little offering coming or any form or service throughout, in fact we were eventually brought 4 coffees. Sandwiches were absolutely rock hard, no fillings, very little appeal to any of the dishes in fact. Oh and we were also served some small salmon fillets on a crispbread which was also rock hard containing bones. I've been here before was amazing, but this place has gone down hill dramatically. I've sat in the bar listening to other comments this afternoon, which was also quite concerning. I most certainly will NOT be returning. It’s not worth the money they charge!! I’ve it two months before leaving this review, I think I’ve given the ample time to reply to the comments we on the questionnaire to us in our room. Hotel and its grounds are beautiful, one of the prettiest hotels I’ve stayed at but its beauty doesn’t make up for the faults in other areas. My husband booked this as a surprise for our 1st wedding anniversary and explained all of this to the hotel. When we arrived the young man at the desk was most abrupt! No hello, how can I help he simply said “check in isn’t until three” this immediately started our stay on a bad note. Spa, our treatments and at the spa were very and welcoming! Our waitress at dinner was wonderful she was very attentive, well spoken and just very at her job! Our hadn’t been cleaned to the best standard as a baby bottle and lid we in our under the chair… mistakes happen I appreciate that. But for the price of our it is not enough. Unfortunately on check out we with a similar note as our ‘welcome’ I think this man was part of management dark hair was wearing a navy shirt? He was very abrupt, had no conversation just took payment and was ready for us to leave. I hoped we would leave on a better note but it only confirmed our thoughts not to return. This is a great shame as it’s such a but the standards are not there! If I knew every member's name from this stay, each one would deserve a special mention. Everything about my experience was absolutely perfect. The was spotless, had everything I needed, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The food, including breakfast, was excellent, faultless. I would 100% recommend this and am already looking forward to staying here again in the future. Having stayed at many hotels, I was impressed by how, even at full capacity, the made me feel like their only guest. They are an incredible asset to this hotel. A huge thank you to the entire team! This was easily the best I’ve ever experienced, such a stunning exterior matched with interior. The service was along with such a gorgeous room. It felt like every single detail had been thought of in the rooms. At such a reasonable price I think this is unique and amazing. We are definitely coming back, I would strongly recommend Peterstone Court. I made a for six people at Peterstone Court for Mother’s Day on the 4th of March. I received a confirmation email and completed the pre-order link, and at no stage during the process was there any mention of a deposit being required. Then, two weeks later on the 18th of March, I received a call informing me that a deposit was now needed and that my would be cancelled if it wasn’t paid. This was the first time a deposit had ever been mentioned. I raised my concerns about the lack of prior communication, citing the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations, which require all material terms to be disclosed before a customer commits to a booking. Unfortunately, the gentleman I spoke to was unhelpful and simply repeated that "it’s policy"—despite being unable to point to any proof that this policy had been communicated to me at the time of booking. There was no willingness to acknowledge the oversight or work with me to find a fair resolution. The attitude felt dismissive and rigid, which was incredibly disappointing given the nature of the occasion. As a result, I have cancelled the booking. What should have been a joyful and special day with my family became a source of frustration and stress. Peterstone Court may be a venue, but my experience with their customer service has me feeling completely let down. I will not be returning, and I hope they seriously review how they communicate terms and handle situations like this in the future. If I could give 100 stars I definitely would. My first time to wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and I am so impressed with Peterstone court hotel, were all really friendly they all made me feel like i was home ! it’s definitely great for solo travellers, couples & families. Very relaxing vibes there with views everywhere around the hotel. Food was absolutely 👍💯 had my breakfast & dinner there. Room was very spacious , one of the most spacious I’ve ever stayed in and I’m not even kidding. And if you need a spa treatment theres just one right at the basement of the ! Overall, 0 complaints at all because it’s just too 🤩 highly recommend to anyone who’s intending to stay there. You won’t regret it !
