In fact, it’s so simple to the point that it’s actually brilliant because it stands out from the crowd of generic touristy food places in Bruneck. The fries are decent, the kaiser buns are fresh and a simple wurst suffices to appease one’s hunger. It all comes at an acceptable price and you can pay by card. If it was in a more competitive environment, there would be more pressure to excel and there is certainly room for improvement, so I’d be leaning towards four stars, but it’s doing just fine in this town and deserves to survive (while all the tourist traps with hyped up reviews perish), hence five stars. Besides, the staff is very nice. That said, there are a few things that could be improved. If they really want to strive for excellence, they will look into providing local farmer’s meat and advertise it accordingly. Fresh local farm-to-table produce is the future of food. There’s great meat around here, so the world should know about it (and taste it). Anyway, the main message is that you will get a simple, decent, and affordable meal here. Long waiting time.
